PHOTO of the DAY - Sedum rubrotinctum

It seems to me that any photograph should carry some meaning, or new knowledge.

Based on this, I want to publish a photograph of a plant that is not something very rare in our time, but I'm sure not everyone knows its name.

Before you, in my opinion, is a very interesting plant called Sedum rubrotinctum, which appeared in our area relatively recently, about thirty years ago, when people began to collect exotic plants called succulents and sedums.

The structure of these plants is more like mushrooms, especially thick, blistered leaves, with watery pulp.

During my childhood, I could see only one relative of this plant called aloe.

Interestingly, at that time, people believed that succulents could not bloom, or bloomed very rarely, in this case, flowering was not observed on sedum.
