PHOTO of the DAY - Lonícera or honeysuckle

I must confess that I have never tasted honeysuckle fruit.

I plan to plant this fruit shrub on my land, but. you need to choose an edible, frost-resistant variety.

Although, I think that any kind of honeysuckle is familiar with severe frosts, because its homeland is the Far East.

Today I passed by a honeysuckle bush that grows near a small alley, this bush is very colorful, as you can see in this photo.

In addition to delicious berries, it can become an adornment of any garden, it is surprising that the leaves of the bush are both green and red.

But, I'm not sure if this variety of honeysuckle is edible.

Some types of honeysuckle can be poisonous so be careful.
