Name a song, any song, happy or sad, that stirs your heart and soul everytime you hear it. What memories, feelings, emotions, and images does the song bring back? Is there a story that goes with the song?

Songs have the power to impact our moods and can influence our thoughts and feelings. I love songs right from my childhood and I have casually composed a few songs, especially during the time of depression and some ugly situations in my life. The positive impacts can never be over-emphasized.

Numerous songs stir my heart and soul at the sound of it but I'm gonna choose "Jehovah Overdo" by CHIDINMA.

This song brings back a wonderful memory of a time in my life, it brings back the feelings of those days, the emotions all over my life, and the images, the pictures of my lying state in the hospital bed awaiting the conclusion of the Doctors but then, the protocol breaker, Jehova overdo, stepped into my case and rewrite my story.

Jehova overdo is a gospel song and it reminds us that God is our protocol breaker. He doesn't follow procedures when He wants to show you mercy. He steps into your case, wipes away your tears, rolls away mountains before you, showers you with plenty of love, and then takes away for you. That's just the summary but then, the details of the song are attached below.

I have a short life story to share with you about the wonders of God and the impacts of this song on my life. During my first pregnancy, I had a twin pregnancy and each twin was sharing SAME PLACENTA. At 28 weeks of pregnancy, one of the twins died inside my Tommy. This was discovered through ultrasonic scan and so the doctors here in Nigeria were confused about the best decision to take since the twins share one placenta. This means the two are inseparable and bringing out a 28weeks life baby via surgery and putting him in the incubator was a 50/50 option. However, leaving the dead baby inside my tummy until the life baby matures is a risk and a threat for me the mother, and the living twin.

To cut the story short, I signed to be managed conservatively till my life baby matures and at the end of my long stay in the hospital, Jehovah overdo took over my case, preserved my life and that of my life baby even when the dead twin was still inside my womb. There was no complication, no negativity of any kind. The gynecologist was astonished at the outcome and said I should hold until that God that I am serving because my case was rare in their practice. In fact, penning down my case on this can take 2,000 words but in everything, God broke protocols for my sake, and after the surgery and birth, He made a wider door for my family as well.
