Hello Everyone,

This morning I 3D printed a guitar capo, and not only did it print beautifully, it also works perfectly on my Jasmine guitar as well!

I found this design on Thingiverse, as a second attempt at printing a guitar capo. The previous capo snapped as soon as I tried fitting it on my guitar. This one is a little bigger and seemingly much better designed. I watched as it printed and could see special care was taken in the design work to ensure it would react correctly to spring pressure. LoboCNC did a really good job with this.

It only took two hours on my slow but steady printing Ender 3 V2, @ 0.28 mm layer height, printed in black TECBEARS PLA.

Perhaps we will see more of this capo in use over on the @futuremind blog in the future :)

That will do it for this post.

Your time is a valuable commodity and I always keep this in mind and do my best to respond to everyone. I appreciate all of the amazing engagement and support!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day! ~~@print3dpro

This is super cool!

I hope you're able to get one in early 2022! Are you planning to get a metal printer like this one or an FDM printer?

I dream of a food printer! lol but until then just a FDM printer to start with.

It's always interesting to see what idea you had that you then took action on and created something you can actually use around the house. You are living in in the age of the Jetsons and Star Trek when it comes this type of stuff. It's remarkable!

I hope we do see this capo in use! It's quite attractive. I don't understand the captions under the photos.

I hope so too, problems with neighbors are making it difficult for me to get into my artistic flow but I'm trying.

I don't understand the captions under the photos.

It's links to the source of the downloadable printing file, giving attribution to the creator of this capo.

Thanks for your kind words and support my friend.

Am waiting for the mischief Jake, make his first strum and the neighbor start blasting music. And then you play along with their music 🤣

If this song can be converted, I believe Christmas song can as well 🤣

I'm just trying to figure out why the music didn't go along with the music video with that rock song. It was entertaining to watch though 😂

I want to get an electric guitar and giant amplifier eventually, but maybe I should move first 🤣
