The job brief was to make products to assist in case of an emergency and that these were made with 3D printing. In my career in general having a 3D printer is quite common as it is a good investment because you can make your own products and parts for the career and also get some money by taking other people's work.

El material más común y el más usado para imprimir es el PLA un plástico con buenas características y muy versátil pero si vamos hacia materiales técnicos hay muchos usuarios de impresora que no saben usarlos este fue mi caso con el flexible, vi que muchos de mis compañeros estaban proponiendo ideas que necesitaban flexibilidad y vi una gran oportunidad para aprender y tomar muchos trabajos así que antes de las fechas de entrega decidí ponerme a investigar sobre este material ya que no es simplemente comprarlo y empezarlo a usar, tiene su técnica y ciencia detrás.
I started watching videos and reading the experience of other people to put myself in context and understand a little more, it is a very complicated material to work with first because of the settings and printing temperatures and secondly because being a flexible material it is more difficult to control the correct and continuous flow for optimal printing.

I made small tests and took samples to my class on a Monday to show the qualities I had achieved, many colleagues were interested and asked me questions so I started taking orders. I chatted with each of my clients to find out what they needed in their work and the flexibility they needed their pieces to have, since I could manage this parameter from the configuration and with different filler percentages.

The next job I made were these small modules, at first glance they seem to be simple because they are small pieces, but with the flexible I prefer to print larger pieces, this material has some problems when using the layers. This took an hour, the flexible has to be printed at very slow speeds for a good result, to put them in context a piece printed in PLA that takes 2hs in flexible can take twice as long or more and that is something to keep in mind for projects because if you rush the work the machine and the piece can fail.

When I finished printing the first module I noticed a small imperfection on one of the faces, it seemed that some layers had not joined well so I decided to purge the extruder a little as I thought it might be about to be plugged, then I replaced the piece and the next one came out very well. I told my customer about this and gave him both pieces, I preferred that the failed piece had some use before it was discarded.
Al terminar de imprimir el primer módulo note una pequeña imperfección en una de las caras, parecía que unas capas no se habían unido bien así que decidí purgar un poco el extrusor ya que pensé que podía estar a punto de taparse, luego volví a colocar la pieza y la siguiente salió muy bien. A mi cliente le comenté esto y le entregue ambas piezas, prefería que la pieza fallida tuviera alguna utilidad antes de que sea desechada.
This last work was intended to contain ice so that it could be placed on any part of the body.
