ecoTrain QOTW #9.4: can spirituality and technology live together?
Hello, dear friends how are you doing today hope your day went well.well I so much thank God for being in this week question of the week and I also thank the admin of this ecoTrain community for bringing in this interesting question of the week, it's very vital and also important that as humans we must know and understand what spirituality is, because it definitely has a significant part to play in everyday life and that of technology too.
Firstly I will start by saying that spirituality is not a religion and is not also necessarily affiliated with religion, it is an idea of a process or journey of self discovery and of learning not only who you are but who you want to be. Spirituality is personal, but it is also rooted in being technology with others and around you. It can actually facilitate you finding your place in the world, while technology is use of scientific knowledge for practical purposes or application whether in industry or in our everyday lives technology is all around us and it has been part of our daily life which comprised of products and processes created by engineers to meet our needs and wants.
There are sometimes in life that I have always believed in industrial science and cybernetics which is definitely revealed through one's encounter the set maps for spirituality is actually bringing us to discover that we are greater than who we apparently think we are but to reach such a height of enlargement or evolution,we need to recognize or acknowledge that there's more to being human than sensible occurrences. Technology fount it's expedient or method through the world and spiritual people do believe in every thing they see that is created by God, it is currently possible that technology and spirituality can live together if there is an equal opportunity. When we actually allow spirituality to control us, we miss to discover our good qualities that we have in other to live well and try to see technology as an equipment of undervising praise when we put ourselves too much on scientific research, we lose our concentration of life. Therefore I would rather say that spirituality is not against technology neither is technology countering the divine purpose but for them there must be an equal opportunity, well technology is actually empirical, spirituality can not be seen. Spiritual occurrences affects our intelligence, conception, body and soul while technology assuage our living. It depends for we humans to equal opportunity because having a great part of one could deprive us to Live happily.
