ecoTrain QOTW : TECHNOLOGIES THAT HAS POSITIVE INFLUENCE ON MY LIFE

Technology is evolving at such a very high pace causing faster change and progress in the world way of living and economy. A lot has changed in the past year and this present one due to the outbreak of COVID-19 making tech professionals realize their role in the world situations and providing solutions to the problems facing.

Technology has a positive influence on me right from the start of the pandemic to present time in few ways I never expected;

• In my academics and Blockchain,

• Smart computer (e.g Apple smart watch).

The first on my list is the GOOGLE CLASSROOM which can be classified on the internet, education took a turn right from the inception of COVID-19 which makes the government never want to risk the life of the future country leaders (youths).

This makes the tertiary institutions to set up a means of virtual learning method since the physical is not possible, and at first we students were like this can never be possible because that is the first time most of us will be using or hearing about the google classroom.
However, in the first semester it really looks like it’s going to be a failure because even the lecturers don’t know how it works or never been familiar with it but it later turns out to be a success. The kind of positive influence it has on me is the freedom the virtual learning offers me because I was able to utilize my time and it allows me to do some other things needful for me as a student unlike the physical class that you might attend and unfortunately you waited for hours only for the lecturer not to appear.

It's during the pandemic I learn about cryptocurrency and blockchains, ever since then it has influenced my financial life positively in which hive was one. I entered the crypto game with Tron and smart contracts like forsage, incomatrix, fortron, and airdrops. All this won't be possible if the internet doesn't exist and also the advent of blockchain technology and how it has rapidly developed and progress as we have so many cryptocoins and tokens now.

On the part of the smart watch, according to reports it have save lifes on some many occasions (checking on this testimonies). The apple smart watch has been a life-saver programmed in many ways such as, providing haptic feedback, mimicking the feeling of lungs expanding and deflating making it easier to focus on one’s breathing.

It does great work to get more people to track their health data.
It can perform some other operations just like the computer and smartphones. Some of the operations like, your apple watch can approve apps that need to verify your identity, theater mode, alarm clock, stopwatch, can work as a navigator, to pay for goods, heart rate monitor, breath app, to play music and any other built in functions. It can be use to control any other apple-owned device like mac and apple tv. I planned on getting another one soon has the first one I purchased was stolen during one school activities.
