I will disagree with Learning C/C++ will be childs play. They are hard, and further C and C++ is totally different languages and they are hard to learn especially at the level you are talking about these even get more harder.

And further using a language does not depend on developer but on your need, The little example i will give is You probably wouldn't cut birthday cake with an axe. Language is chosen on what you want to do. For example If I will use python where i need high performance will be disastrous.

I wrote that based on the experiences of various programmer people. Some actually said it will almost seems to be child's play, which is not exactly what I wrote, but the main point is the same. They learned those languages easily. Of course everyone is different, and everyone have their own experiences. For example many people find difficult even the easiest programming languages, such as the scripting languages.

Personally I really would not, but some people would and do.

Language is chosen on what you want to do.

People often do not know at the beginning of their programming learning what they want to do.

For example If I will use python where i need high performance will be disastrous.

That may be true.

Thank you for your detailed opinion. Have some !PIZZA.
