I found the subliminal text prompt in the US anthem interesting. I note that despite having been subjected to that prompting, I did not have those opinions. I believe that such subliminal prompts are incompetent to override rational decisions. Certainly such thoughts arose in me as a child, even without such prompting. I certainly had to consider whether or not to agree with them.

In the fullness of my consideration, I found them insuperable. This encourages me that people that do undertake to consciously make decisions are able to make those decisions based on reason, and are not simply programmable.
