Directional anti armor mine in Ukraine!

Wow this is absolutely crazy however the idea is solid and has been used against coalition forces for quite a while.

Basically you're shooting a shape charge off and it shoots a jet of molten metal through the armor.

Absolutely vicious. Highly effective and operational capabilities of up to a 100 m means that this has a huge decisive advantage.

And don't forget these things are directional so you can layer them.

Let alone also setting things up for remote mechanical detonation. Precisely targeting vehicles on supply routes especially behind enemy lines.

The more you turn around the more you see technological advancements that we really haven't seen on the battlefield now mass produced.

This thing is actually pretty cool and comes with infrared sensing capability so this is really cool.

Setting these up you can actually change these and depending on when you arm the infrared switch you can actually Target multiple vehicles in a convoy.

Basically it's like using garage door sensor the invisible beam is interrupted and this initiates the entire detonation sequence.

It's really cool to see such amazing advancements and military technology if it wasn't for the fact that you're currently watching an entire War going on.

When these weapon systems are ideal for ambushing supply routes as well as being quickly able to set up when you are vacating a forward firing position and retreating allowing enemy armor elements to trigger and initiate this anti vehicle weapon.

I can just see how useful this would be on a defensive front while engaging large numbers of armored vehicles.

I guess you didn't actually watch the video.

Wow they may be saying that they are using it, to... This.

And mines are defensive in nature. An advancing Force might have them in their inventory but would see little chance at being able to use these offensively.

However let's see, the big Southern counter offensive by Ukraine might encounter some of these.

And I'll be honest, I highly doubt the effectiveness or the technology of this. Definitely super sketched out.

Supposedly it will automatically turn blah blah blah this system really doesn't sound combat proven or effective in real world conditions.

The directional anti-armor device that I posted as multiple settings it can be Daisy chained together it can work in conjunction with other supporting elements.

This? I'm guessing this is going to be as dangerous to the people putting it in as the opposing Force...

What a pathetic Idiotic attempt at slandering me, claiming I didn't watch the video. The video clearly said its Employed in Ukraine.

I like how diligently you dismiss and lie, to deal with the cognitive dissonance that says these mines are Operational, not make believe like the western Lolololol mines.

Ukraine said this:

https://militaryleak.com/2022/04/28/ukranian-army-confirms-russian-made-ptkm-1r-top-attack-anti-vehicle-mine-in-ukraine/?amp

Ukrainian Army sappers found an advanced Russian top-attack anti-tank and anti-vehicle mine, the PTKM-1R. This was discovered on the 26th of April in Ukraine. This munition is not known to have been previously employed on operations.

What appears to be the previously operationally-unseen, advanced Russian top-attack anti-tank & anti-vehicle mine, the PTKM-1R (????-1?). This was discovered on the 26th of April in the Ukraine. An image of the munition attached to the tweet. pic.twitter.com/MtqQvzCYtd

As for mines are for defense.. Tank mines are for stopping massive waves of armor from breaching the front line. Tank mines when the army is depleted of Tanks don't stop much of anything, and seeing that armor is kaput for Nazis, indeed the Rebels and Allies won't have much use for the mines, yet considering that the weapon is operational and can be deployed, it'll be endlessly more useful than a make believe mine for a force that needs arty, air and anti-air, not mines, which can make a difference only if they don't get detected by the slow methodical clearing of towns, villages and industrial zones by grunts and sappers.
