MEME: Should you stop asking questions, stop thinking about this and just trust?

What if they didn't do anything to debunk anything?

People would still debunk bunk and people will still continue to promote bunk. Them (officials) debunking is almost a requisite for public service. The fact that they instead lie profusely through "debunking" is what would change, if they stopped debunking.

What if it isn't classified and they just said it was so they don't have to answer?

Then they lied. They can lie, as they are doing it "for" our benefit, the argument goes. That they lie about it being classified, or that should it be classified, they may lie about why it's classified, they don't have to answer because they aren't, meaningfully, in a position to be checked and audited, held to performance reviews and quarterly or bi-annual reports. It's not their rhetoric or lies that enable them, it's their impunity which makes it almost necessary to lie and mislead.

What are they an expert of and is that a reason to not challenge them? Celebrity? So what?

You don't need to challenge them, other experts will and do, the only problem is censorship and suppression, costs for challenging them.

The celebrity that likely gets multiple attempts to repeat and deliver their lines correctly is the person you think the rest of us should listen to about science, medicine,
fixing the world, etc. Why? If their movie or show is
good. That is only where they matter...

Its only certain celebrities, again. Maybe because they don't matter any more than you do, but they chose to voice their opinion, and listening to opinions isn't Forced. They matter in the fact that many young people will look up to them, but they only matter when they deliver some lines, they aren't an individual outside that.

I hate these words....

even more, because i cannot use them myself.

Like, the Theory of Gravity is debunked... (usually i say it is disproven)
and give reasons it has been disproven.

But, i am a nobody, so my words are dismissed.
Told that i should go to school and learn real science. Told that isn't the way theories work. Told that i am a fuckin loon...
