RE: FREE ENERGY BASICS - the coolest way to power a bedside light (copper wire/wet tissue/tin foil)

Energy is all around us, everywhere.
I do agree it isn´t totally "free", only when we compare it to paying a bill...
even water, stored up high on a property has potential energy till it comes down by gravity. this can be maximized by placing a turbine on its way. possibilities are endless. it is a very important part of Permaculture. it is a shame we are not actually taught things that actually matter in all these years we are jailed in schools.

Funny you should mention water. Esteban & I were doing some experiments in December, just prior to discovering electroculture.

Over on Youtube people appear to be pumping water out of wells using vacuum pumps but was not able to replicate their experiments. Only move water around in quite a convenient way at the top of our 'hill'.

The authorities here are talking about turning our canal off completely this summer. (Last summer they just restricted the flow to particular times of day). This would be a disaster for us. Unless I can figure out how to get lots of water across a road and up a 100m hill. It's not a busy road so I could always do my pumping early in the morning. Am just not sure of the best mechanism without electricity.

Ain't that the truth! And I very often refer to my school days as my incarceration days ;)

(Edited)

looking at the bright side, education system did not manage to dumb us down.
I have learned in my adult life way way more than what they tried to brainwash into my head.
I discovered the pure joy of learning out of natural curiosity and need. I am all self taught, pretty much everything. I now speak 4+ languages and when needed, I source and investigate in all 4+ in order to cross information. I suppose it had to be this long and painful experience to show me how it should not be done.
thanks to this, my son goes to a montesory school and hates weekends. priceless !

by the way, I pump water here from a depth of 95m. then send them uphill, another 11m. using solar.
a solar pump can use as little as 3 panels and if hooked to a variator, does not require batteries, which are the expensive component.

Lovely. Can relate to that.

4+ languages is astounding! I struggle with French a lot. I struggled with English too for many years. Shortly after jabbing me with various vaccines at the age of seven I developed ADHD, so learning in the traditional way became a problem.

Excellent! What a contrast to our experience. The theme tune of Dr Who still pulls up in me the same horrible feeling that it is a Sunday night and I have to go back to school now.

Many thanks for the solar pump idea. That sounds like a decent solution. 95m is a seriously deep well! Incredible.

It is actually a bore hole. 80 to 100m. is a typical depth where I am.
it´s depth is 100m. only that the pump hangs @95m.
