Vegetables in the stool are not completely destroyed

Hello Lovely Hivean!
Yesterday we put in a lot of vegetables. we make a kind of salad with delicious peanut sauce. Children also like it very much. However, this morning the youngest just came out of the toilet and approached me.
"Why do you have vegetables that haven't been destroyed in the stool? '
I smiled at the question.
"Did you see it clearly?"
"Yes, Yeah."
Pleased to hear the youngest's questions reflecting his criticality. Finally I explained so he could understand better.

Fiber is difficult to digest

Every food will be digested in the body. When the rest of metabolism is no longer used it will be expelled. The process of digestion in the body is carried out and excrete waste products through the digestive tract organs. usually every food will be destroyed so that when it comes out no longer intact as when swallowing it.
However, there are times when the feces that come out still leaving food that has not been destroyed completely. We can still see some vegetables that are still in the form of green stems or leaves. Examples of some foods that are high in fiber and often cannot be digested by the body include peas, peanuts and other legumes. In other vegetables such as carrots, seeds, corn, vegetable peels and some other vegetables such as leaves are also difficult to destroy in the digestive tract. .
As an illustration, the corn we eat often reappears in feces. This is because the outer shell of corn contains cellulose components. While the body cannot break down cellulose so that the outer shell of corn cannot be digested.
The most common causative factor why a food is not destroyed in feces is that it is high in fiber. The body cannot destroy high-fiber foods like other foods. But this does not mean this is bad. Precisely, the existence of this high-fiber food provides benefits.
These high-fiber foods, though indestructible, stimulate the intestines to move. This high-fiber food makes it easier for the intestines to push food into the anus.
As a result, this will launch bowel movements. Maybe there are also those who worry about food that has not been destroyed in the stool. whereas, this is the nature of the body, the body cannot break down all forms of fiber.
Now, so that we don't have a lot of food that has not been destroyed, we must do some things like that

  1. Cut vegetables when you want to cook. For example, long bean cassava leaves, kale and spinach are cut short, not intact shaped leaves.
  2. Chew food more often. This is so that the form of fibrous food gets smaller in size. which will enter the body and make it easier for digestive enzymes to break it down.
  3. Steaming is more cooked. By cooking more cooked the texture of vegetables will be softer and already digested.
  4. Adding probiotics, and lots of water to dissolve all food in the digestive system.

That is the explanation why the feces are still found food that has not been completely destroyed

Thank you for reading my post. I hope you enjoy it.
