Convex Mirror on Vehicle Rearview

Hello Steemian
Every motor vehicle either car or motorcycle, must use a mirror. Rear view mirror mounted on the right and left of the vehicle. With mirrors we can see the situation behind without having to turn around. This makes the journey safer if we want to maneuver like a cross, turn or turn. By looking at the rear view mirror we can find out whether the traffic behind is congested or not. There are other vehicles or not so we can overtake the vehicle in front without grabbing the lane of other road users.
It is different if without the mirrors we cut off the paths of other motorists, of course they will endanger themselves and others.

vehicle mirrors, convex mirrors

Rear view mirror is a mirror that is used to see shadows. On the rear view mirror the vehicle is made of positive (convex) mirrors.
Surely we are escorted the question arises what the use of mirrors for our vehicles? Why should the rear view mirror from a convex mirror (positive mirror). Why not use a concave mirror (negative mirror) or a flat mirror ?.
Vehicle mirrors are one of the applications of physics in everyday life.
The purpose of installing convex mirrors for vehicles is that the user is safe driving.
Mirrors become important tools for the driver or driver. With the help of mirrors, drivers no longer need to look back to see other vehicles or everything in the rear of the vehicle. Simply look at the rearview mirror on the right or left of the vehicle.
The use of convex mirrors on mirrors has several reasons. to find out more we need to know the nature of the image formed by a positive mirror. Positive mirrors have the following characteristics and shaping characteristic:

1. Spread the light
Positive or convex mirror is diffusing (divergent) light. The nature of this positive mirror is the same as the nature of the positive lens used on glasses to help people with nearsightedness.

2. Upright objects
The image of the object formed by a positive mirror is always upright. This means that wherever the location of the object, the shadow never looks upside down.
The proof, the driver or driver has never seen the shadow of the vehicle or other objects behind in an upside down position.
This is certainly more beneficial than inverted shadows. Can we imagine, what if the shadow formed by the rear view mirror of your vehicle?

3. Form a pseudo shadow
The image formed by a convex mirror is always false, where the shadow of the object is always behind the mirror. As a result, when the object is far behind the mirror, the shadow of the object also looks small.
Conversely, the closer the object, the greater the reflection seen in the rearview mirror.

4. Convex mirror catcher coverage wider
Mirrors use convex mirrors because so that all objects that are reflected can be captured and entered so as to create a reduced image on a convex mirror. This allows us to see the situation behind the vehicle more, because what we see is not just one vehicle

Based on the explanation above, it is appropriate that each vehicle must use a convex mirror so that the driver can control the vehicle properly. Thus we will be safe in driving on the highway or crowded places.
Thus all my writing this time may useful for all of us.

Thank you for reading my post. I hoe yo enjoy it.
