Without realizing it, we lose track of time when we connect to new technologies, Has this ever happened to you?

Greetings again my dear friends, I hope you are all very well, for any person on this planet Earth is difficult not to have heard or used any application of new technologies, in a past publication I related to this issue and its link with the loss of communication from person to person due to the use of new technology, but especially between the family which results in more isolation and greater accumulation of family problems, and all this for the lack of such direct communication and loss of trust by the same effect of isolation.

In this opportunity I will relate to the topic of the use of new technologies and their increasingly noticeable effect on our personal time control, bringing without a doubt on our part an evident dependence of us towards these technologies, and without exaggeration, without realizing it, these technological applications trap us until we lose our notion of time, which logically affects our concentration.

Every day that passes the new technological applications captivate us more and more and this in a general way, with some exceptions of adults who never become interested in the use of any of these communication devices such as cell phones to place some of the most key examples of these electronic devices, it seems incredible, but, when we are realizing its great utility in each of the current modern activities, such as making any type of payment electronically, watch any documentary or video that pleases us, or anything else is leading us to a dependence on these electronic devices.

Each person could express that when they are immersed in the use of their phone they can lose their concentration in relation to something they are doing, and how not to do it if we keep our equipment close to us which makes us receive constant stimuli in relation to the reception of all kinds of messaging by the various social networks, sometimes I just try to take my phone to see the time and some messages that come to me, and without realizing I spend several hours connected to the screen of my phone watching any algorithm that offers me some content that catches my interest.

One of the most notable characteristics of these technologies is the fact that it manages to invite us to see some content that catches our attention, thus leading our mind to want to be connected to these electronic devices because we think that if we do not we are missing something interesting or we are not knowing things that we did not know related to any topic, sport, health, religion, culture, among many other attractions offered by these electronic devices through the Internet.

All the above described in general, and so many other aspects make it difficult for us to concentrate on any task or activity that we are about to begin to perform or we are doing, in short, all this can cultivate the seed of addiction to these new technologies especially to the smallest of home as are our children, they can spend hours and hours in front of a screen of one of these devices without realizing what is happening around them.

It is one of our most important challenges today to learn to manage our focus and thus expand this habit to those around us including our children, because if we spend time connected to these devices they will believe that it is of utmost importance to do the same as their parents do, in many cases if the process of addiction to new technologies escapes from our hands is possible to have professional help for both us and our children.

From now on and perhaps until the end of our physical existence on this planet we will be increasingly linked to the arrival of new technologies, the important thing as I have said on other occasions is to know how to live with them and control them ourselves and not the other way around as a good friend would say, in this way we can recover our sense of time, although it is hard for us to do it is for our own good and the good of those who are with us living with us every day.
