The world inventions; The history and the case of the oil and gas pipelines in the world!

The world needs oil and gas to different purposes, and these purposes are for households, rich people, and organizations, and many times we must do something about the oil and gas when it comes to the surface, and that is to process or to refine the oil and gas.

How was the first oil pipeline being developed and invented? Built out of two wooden boards combined to make a “V” shape, the first oil pipeline is widely believed to have been produced in 1862 at the well of Phillips No. 2 in Oil Creek Valley, Pa. It ran oil about 1,000 feet with the help of gravity. And this happened in Pennsylvania in the United States. And Penn State or The Pennsylvania State University is excellent in several ways with giving studies in several fields as business administration, medicine, laws and more things. And The Pennsylvania State University is a university for you no matter where you are from time to time. You should be one of the best of the pupils in the class in your home country for being qualified to Penn State, and we can talk and be silent just as what we are feeling that are natural, and Penn State has studies in world class, and you can be in that world class yourself, if you have ambitions and goals with what you are doing in class and outside class. We can read something or nothing, and that is the philosophy of doing studies many places.

So, back to the oil. What can this oil be used to for making products that organizations and people have their needs for? Well, after crude oil is removed from the ground, it is sent to a refinery where different parts of the crude oil are separated into useable petroleum products. These petroleum products include gasoline, distillates such as diesel fuel and heating oil, jet fuel, petrochemical feedstocks, waxes, lubricating oils, and asphalt.

So, what about the petrol and the diesel that we are using to cars and different transport vehicles with or without intentions to plan anything when we are driving? Crude oil is often a dark, sticky liquid that cannot be used without changing it. The first part of refining crude oil is to heat it until it boils. The boiling liquid is separated into different liquids and gases in a distillation column. These liquids are used to make petrol, paraffin, diesel fuel etc.

Oil is transported through many kinds of oil pipelines in the world, and therefore there are different channels for getting the oil transported to the refinery to make something with the crude oil. The largest oil pipeline in the world is Druzhba Oil Pipeline, and it is the world's longest oil pipeline and one of the largest oil pipeline networks in the world. It carries oil from the eastern part of Russia to points in Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Germany. But we find many oil pipelines in the world, and we should make transport of crude oil to the places where the oil can be processed in such ways that we can use the oil for convenience, pleasure and satisfaction with getting a product from the oil in the markets.

Around 500 B.C., the Chinese started using crude bamboo “pipelines” to transport gas that seeped to the surface and to use it to boil sea water to get drinkable water. The first commercialized natural gas occurred in Britain. Around 1785, the British used natural gas produced from coal to light houses and streets. What can we use the gas for after it is refined to natural gas? Well, it is several things, and some of the most common uses for natural gas in homes include:

  • Heating and cooling air.
  • Providing gas for ranges (stoves and ovens).
  • Fireplaces.
  • Laundry dryers.
  • Barbeque grills and fire pits.

What are really the largest oil and gas pipelines in the world today, in 2022, when we are thinking of all transport and all kinds of pipelines that are real in the world? Well, there will come more pipelines if there is a need for it.

The world's longest oil and gas pipelines are currently:

  • The Trans-Mediterranean Pipeline transports natural gas from Algeria to Italy via Tunisia and Sicily.
  • The West-East Gas Pipeline. The West–East Gas Pipeline is a set of natural gas pipelines which run from the western part of China to the east.
  • The 4,107km-long Yamal–Europe pipeline can carry 33 billion cubic metres of natural gas a year.

And we also find even more pipelines in the world of many kinds and purposes. And Norway is rich today, due to the fact that we found oil and gas in the North Sea. And we should build out the fields with more fields, and pumping more oil and gas to the surface, and earning much money in such ways that we are getting welfare and good times for the population in the country in question.
