Learning about newton's laws of motion to understand the concept of personal motivation

In a very simplified way, we can say that personal motivation is the set of psychological forces that lead us to undertake an action.

If we take into account that personal motivation needs a set of psychological forces to keep us active and functioning in the action of our most common activities, even motivation moves us to achieve our goals.

Newton's first law of motion and its relation to personal motivation.

First I want to explain the analogy of Newton's first law of motion with respect to how we can conceive of personal motivation in our achievements:

Newton expounds that:

"A body cannot of itself change its initial state, whether at rest or in uniform rectilinear motion, unless a force or a series of forces is applied whose resultant is not zero."

Mathematically this is expressed:

In relation to motivation, we can say that nothing will change in our environment if we do not find a way to activate the psychological and behavioral forces that make us activate ourselves to achieve our goals.

Our mind will be in inertia or will maintain a constant motivation, unless there is an external force that modifies the resting state of our motivation.

In our lives many times we live without any kind of motivation, or we also maintain a motivation that is not changing but rather constant, the problem of this is that if nothing changes we will not be able to achieve new things.

Newton's second law of motion and its relation to personal motivation.

Newton's second law states that:

the force that generates motion is directly proportional to the change of momentum in each unit of time. From this equation we obtain the unit of measurement of force in the International System of Units, the Newton:

If the mass of the body remains constant, then Newton's second law implies that:

In the event that we manage to gather enough psychological forces to generate a motivation capable of achieving great things in our lives, then these follow a course similar to that of Newton's second law of motion, and we will see why?

The willpower that generates motivational movement is directly proportional to the mass of ideas and thoughts that are involved in such motivation by the time we take to activate ourselves.

Once we are motivated, it is up to us to maintain or vary in increase this motivation, if we do not want it to be constant because this motivational value is not enough to obtain new achievements, then we must move more mass of ideas to generate the necessary creativity to motivate us with a greater impulse.

If we want to keep constant and move the same amount of mass of ideas, but we want to increase the motivational force, then we must increase the speed with which we are moving the mass of ideas, thereby increasing the motivational force.

Conclusion

It is very interesting to find similarities and comparisons of some elements of self-improvement, as in this case is the motivation, and seek to compare them with some scientific elements as in the case of classical mechanics explained by Newton in his laws of motion.

I read somewhere that you cannot motivate yourself or motivate others, but you can stimulate yourself and stimulate others to have some impact on motivation. I wonder if this should modify this speculation about the similarities of Newton's Laws and psychological states, but it is an interesting thought.

Hello friend @eniolw.

It is very interesting to think about three fundamental things:

Physics.
Philosophy.
Psychology.

The philosophy is to think about the nature of our thinking associated with the way our impulses and stimuli move, at the same time the psychology to understand each behavior associated with the desire to stimulate us or stimulate others based on the laws of motion of classical mechanics, suddenly so we will understand why we humans behave in a certain way.

Greetings friend and thank you for your important comment that made me think a lot and extrapolate in these situations to find the logical sense to other aspects involved.
