[ESP /ING] Herramientas tecnológicas para un mejor aprendizaje. / Technological tools for better learning.
Saludos a todos los miembros de esta prestigiosa comunidad, el día de hoy mi publicación estará relacionada a los lineamientos que las universidades venezolanas están recibiendo sobre el adiestramiento del uso de las herramientas tecnológicas para poder impartir clases a distancia.
Greetings to all the members of this prestigious community, today my publication will be related to the guidelines that Venezuelan universities are receiving on the training of the use of technological tools to be able to teach at a distance.
Es muy bien sabido que producto de la pandemia los institutos educativos en todos sus niveles cerraron sus puertas para evitar la propagación del virus COVID-19, tocando el tema particular de Venezuela esta situación trajo consigo un problema adicional y es que más del 95% de sus centros educativos públicos y privados no cuentan con las herramientas tecnológicas necesarias para impartir clases a distancia y a esto se le suma la no capacitación del personal docente para impartir dichas clases bajo esta modalidad.
It is well known that as a result of the pandemic, educational institutions at all levels closed their doors to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus. In Venezuela, this situation brought with it an additional problem: more than 95% of its public and private educational centers do not have the necessary technological tools to teach distance learning classes, in addition to the lack of training of teaching staff to teach these classes in this modality.
Esta problemática se presenta en todo el nivel educativo primario, secundario y universitario, en el caso del sector universitario la situación se torna más preocupante debido a que están egresando profesionales con deficiencias importantes en las áreas donde se desenvolverán laboralmente. En virtud de esta situación las universidades venezolanas están recibiendo lineamientos desde el Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Educación Universitaria para que esta situación no continúe.
This problem is present at all levels of primary, secondary and university education. In the case of the university sector, the situation is even more worrisome because professionals are graduating with significant deficiencies in the areas where they will work. Due to this situation, Venezuelan universities are receiving guidelines from the Ministry of Popular Power for University Education so that this situation does not continue.
Uno de los lineamientos más importantes que dicho ministerio está impulsando es el de capacitar a la planta profesoral y estudiantil sobre todas las herramientas tecnológicas que existen para poder impartir clases a distancia, para que de esta manera se minimice esta problemática y se pueda cumplir con los contenidos programáticos establecidos. En los actuales momentos existen muchas herramientas tecnológicas que son utilizadas con fines de enseñanza – aprendizaje, acá les nombro quizás las más utilizadas por ser gratuitas y estar al alcance, Classroom, Moodle, Chamilo, Canvas, entre otras más.
One of the most important guidelines that the Ministry is promoting is to train the teaching staff and students on all the technological tools that exist to be able to give distance classes, so that this problem can be minimized and the established program contents can be fulfilled. At present there are many technological tools that are used for teaching-learning purposes, here I name perhaps the most used because they are free and available, Classroom, Moodle, Chamilo, Canvas, among others.
Dando cumplimiento a la directriz emanada desde el Ministerio de Educación Universitaria, la Universidad Nacional Experimental Sur del Lago (UNESUR) universidad de la cual formo parte como docente dio inicio a los preparativos de los talleres de capacitación al personal docente, estableciendo una reunión para coordinar todo lo relacionado a dicha capacitación y con el objetivo de dar a conocer estas herramientas tecnológicas que están al alcance de nuestra manos y que son muy valiosas para el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje, en particular debo decir que esta estrategia puede ayudar a reducir el impacto que está generando el cierre de las universidades y aunque no resuelvan la situación al 100% ayudaran a cumplir los objetivos establecidos.
In compliance with the directive issued by the Ministry of University Education, the Universidad Nacional Experimental Sur del Lago (UNESUR) university of which I am part as a teacher began preparations for training workshops for teaching staff, The university, of which I am a professor, started the preparations for the training workshops for the teaching staff, establishing a meeting to coordinate everything related to this training and with the objective of making known these technological tools that are within our reach and that are very valuable for the teaching-learning process. In particular, I must say that this strategy can help to reduce the impact that the closing of the universities is generating and although they do not solve the situation 100%, they will help to fulfill the established objectives.
Hello @carlir, a great challenge for universities and their professors and students in Venezuela with the Covid 19 pandemic, not only training in the technological tools you mention, but also connectivity and access to the internet.

Greetings @raizayanez, unfortunately in Venezuela there are other variables that prevent the application of technological tools effectively and efficiently, but with the little we can do a lot.
