Dear readers, times are changing and with it the educational models, especially in unexpected situations such as the arrival of the pandemic, currently there are attempts to implement coherent strategies to transmit knowledge to students in this sense, the university professor must discover innovative methods and techniques to contribute significantly in the teaching-learning process of future professionals of our countries, especially due to the accelerated technological scientific development that demands in some way or another the use of certain tools to achieve an accurate communication with young people and to give an educational use to technology, since, without any doubt, education is the essential vehicle to guide the human being.

In that sense, if you want to use technological tools for educational outreach, it is necessary to talk about educational innovation in teaching, where the teacher in addition to the use of technological tools implements a series of unconventional teaching actions that involve the development of an innovative mindset, for it, It is necessary to train university professors to provide them with technical (technological tools) and didactic skills that facilitate the construction of knowledge at a distance, since, not having the proper guidance could cause discouragement in them, because they do not have the appropriate strategies to meet the demands of the current situation.
To achieve the aforementioned, it is necessary that universities assume their educational role in teacher training and thus ensure that future professionals are trained by integral teachers that allow them to connect with diverse knowledge. In Venezuela, some university institutions such as the Universidad Nacional Experimental Sur del Lago "UNESUR" is in the process of training university professors with the intention of orienting them in the use of ICT in distance education, taking into account that not all professors have extensive knowledge of them and without doubt in today's world these tools play a fundamental role in the positive transformation of education and the appropriate use of certain social and educational platforms, breaking logistical barriers of accessibility to information and communication.

In relation to the technologies that are widely used in the world, authors such as Cabero (1998), indicated in those years that the new information and communication technologies revolve around three media: information technology, microelectronics and telecommunications, which together make it possible to achieve new realities in terms of communication.
Dear readers, in summary, it can be said that universities should be guarantors of the training of teaching staff and should incorporate each of them in the use of ICT, in addition, it would be interesting the integration of these tools and platforms in the world of teaching regardless of the type of university career, for this you need trained personnel for the redesign of program content, methodological strategies and the selection of technological resources that can be used to provide a meaningful education.
