Let me introduce myself
Hello everyone! Nice to meet you all!
My name is Leonor (people always call me Leo) and I live in Lisbon, Portugal, although I am a solo traveler and take any chance I get to explore the world in the most sustainable way possible.
At home, you can often find me reading books, creating herbal teas, writing novels or expressing myself through art.
I have a deep bound with nature and all animals. I respect all forms of life and, even though I like humans, my best friend in the world is a 2 year old rescue Maine Coon cat named Matthew Clawley (pictured).
I've got an interest in natural medicine a few years ago through Fantasy Books. Since I am chronically ill (Stage 3 Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and PCOS), I've also found interest in finding ways to cope with pain and illness that didn't involve typical pharmaceutical medicine.
What more can I say...
For almost 3 years I've been doing Medicinal Herbalism workshops with a professional Herbalist. I'm learning so much and putting everything in practice every day.

not exactly grew up but most of my summers and easters were spent there with my grandparents! Happiest times <3
I see. That counts as growing up for me :>)
Time spent at - and with - my grandparents, both in The Netherlands and at my mother's parents' Summer house in the South of France ( every year until I was 8 ) also belongs to my very favorite memories.

Eight suggestions to consider:
1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, keychain and steemconnect,
3. The master password is only used to reset compromised passwords,
4. DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and
be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
7. When you open your steemit.com, in the upper right corner of the page there are 3 bars. Click on those, and then on the "welcome", and you will get a lot of reading material that will help you.
8. Do NOT open any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

I knew that foxes were viewed as messengers, but I didn't know for what they were messengers. I absolutely love it!! I always felt a connection to foxes, and everything they embodied.

I'm glad you made your post on my week to curate, as I love welcoming folks to steem. It's been a while since I did any welcoming (or much of any steeming at all for that matter)!
Of course, you know our discord server, where there's always someone to help with questions. Something that helped me when I was just getting started with steem was contest participation. Whether I won or not, getting involved always helped get my name out, get attention on my feed, and get support. Regular posts also help a lot. Every few days, once a week, etc. will help keep your name fresh on folks' feeds. Hands down the best thing to do though, is comment on other posts. Get out and engage with like minded folks all over, there's a lot on this blockchain! If natural medicines aren't the only things you're interested in, there's other awesome steem interfaces like steempeak that you can use to look around!
