HEALTHY EATING (PART I)

(Edited)

When we talk about healthy eating, we are talking about those foods that provide us with the nutrients our body needs, all in order to keep our body in excellent condition, so that we can fight certain diseases much more easily, and be able to obtain adequate growth and development.

It is important to know what we are eating, most of the time we do not even realize how many calories we are consuming, nor the amounts of sugar and minerals. It is important that we verify that we are introducing in our body.

We must bear in mind that to achieve a healthy diet we must include in our diet, the consumption of fruits and vegetables daily, legumes, cereals, meats, dairy products, fats, as you can see we include a little bit of everything, but in adequate quantities.

We must consider that each person depending on their age, sex, size, if they do some physical activity and their state of health, if they suffer from some pathology, because the diet will be different, some will need more protein, others more healthy fats, in short.

As we all know, or at least some, foods are classified according to their nutrients, we have the macronutrients, which are the carbohydrates, proteins and fats and the micronutrients, we find the vitamins and minerals.

We all know that eating well will bring us many benefits, but unfortunately we don't all worry about that, people eat what they like best and already, without thinking that it may hurt their body. Junk food, our great enemy, for example, this type of food is not liked by everyone, but what happens if we ingest them in excess, as we know all excess is harmful.

I think that is a constant problem in us human beings, we want to be healthy and fit but we do not do our part. I know that there are many factors that sometimes lead us to break with our healthy eating, whether it is because of work, the stress of college, and the fact that we always say we don't have time.

Time is there, it's just a matter of getting organized. In addition to food, there are other activities that complement it, as the main we have the hydration and exercise.

I know that for many it is a nuisance to exercise, but with only 20-30 minutes a day, we can help our organism. Drinking water is indispensable, our body is composed of a large percentage of water, so we must keep it hydrated.

For now this is all for today, but later on we will be developing each of those macro and micronutrients that our body needs. We will also include hydration and exercise.

Thank you very much!

Excellent information, hydration is very important, especially after doing exercises that one sweats a lot and loses minerals (although through perspiration we also release toxins), it is important to replenish it by drinking a lot of water.

And the thing about junk food is that although it is very rich or appealing to our sense of taste, it is so abundant in harmful elements that eating it in excess is terrible. No matter how much we detoxify, if we eat the same amount of harmful food, we are left in a neutral state.

We must seek a balance and organize ourselves to be able to be well in both food and exercise. Especially, now with the quarantine.

That's very true, you have to look for a balance, I'm not saying that you have to give us a taste once in a while, but it can't be every day! @karmadorje
