What should be the ideal method of fishing?

Fishing is a popular game in the world and catching fish is also a matter of livelihood for many. But, what should be the method of fishing. Traditional ways like poll fishing, net fishing are safer for environment but, cannot catch so much fish as the modern ways do. On the other hand trawlers catch excessive fish and also destroy seabed and kill other animals and plants too. Commercial fishing is making some people rich and also provides employment to many but, it is harmful for the environment.

So, what should be the ideal method of fishing?

  • Traditional need based.
  • Modern commercial method.
  • Fishing should be banned.

Human greed is so destructive.

There must be laws to protect wildlife, and the "teeth" to enforce them.
