I feel that you are looking into it too much. Each story has their own world with different principles so I focus on the story itself more.

On a side note since you like science, I recommend Dr. Stone. Do you think what he did was realistic? I feel like it is but I haven't looked up all the details. It deals with a world where everyone on earth was turned into stone. Afterwards when the main characters wake up, they are in a prehistoric world. One of the main characters want to drive the world back to it's former glory using his knowledge of science.

I'll need to look into that. On first glance it would depend on what type of stone someone was turned into. In principle using nanotechnology a person could be turned into limestone by rearranging the calcium, carbon and oxygen atoms that make up the person. Something like conversion into granite couldn't be done with nanotechnology since there aren't relatively as many silicon atoms in the human body. The carbon would have to be transmuted into silicon using femtotechnology and then nanotechnology would be used to rearrange the resulting atoms.
