I shoot young pepper seeds in my backyard garden, pepper or often the king of spices, besides that it also has a Latin name, namely Piper nigrum. Pepper is a plant that is rich in benefits. Various kinds of processed pepper are often found in the market, both in traditional markets and in modern markets. Pepper has a bitter, spicy and warm taste, it's no wonder that pepper is one of the spices that must be in the kitchen.
Pepper or marica plants grow from seeds that are planted, the stems grow vines on twigs or poles prepared by pepper farmers.

Here are some pics of pepper i shot a few days ago.

Pepper branch.

This plant has two kinds of pepper, namely orthotropic branches and pang plagiatrop branches. The orthotropic branches are branches that grow from the axils of the leaves on the stem books, both on the surface and in the soil. Furthermore, the pang plagiarism branch is a branch that grows from the branch book. Usually this branch will grow after the pepper plant bears fruit twice. The more branch books it grows, the more fruit it will produce. Wikipedia

Pepper or marica leaves have a shape that is almost the same as betel leaves, but it has a coarser fiber than betel leaf fibers.
About the shape of the pepper leaf I quote a source from wikipedia.

The leaves of the pepper plant are ovoid in shape, but have a tapered tip. At the top, the leaves are dark green shiny, while the bottom is pale green. length can reach 12-18 cm with a width of 5-10 cm. The leaves will be longer if they are on the upper stem, and vice versa. Usually pepper leaf buds are covered by petals (scales), if it expands, then the petals fall. In addition, the leaves of this plant are rubbery and stemmed. Wikipedia
