Haven’t seen Babylon 5 but I want to eventually. Never liked StarTrek it was too low budget.
I did really love the remake of Battlestar Galactica. Never saw the original though.

I vaguely remember watching the original BSG when I was a kid. I was more of a TNG guy than The original series. I still find myself watching it through the week on BBC America. Babylon 5 was amazing, but they moved the time slots around so much that my dad and I lost track of it and never got to watch the whole series. The first couple of seasons were amazing. I also loved a lot of the StarGate shows.

I missed StarGate as well, saw the movie but that's it. I've seen clips of the show online but it felt a lot like StarTrek in terms of production quality which made it hard to take seriously.

I thought the production was really great and the storylines were pretty cool too. The way they expanded the whole mythology of the movie was great. Nothing tops the movie though.
