To me, there is also an additional value in NFT's in Hive compared to other platforms. It is the option to get to know the author if he/she posts in Hive. You can know whatever he/she talks about in his/her posts and are able to interact. You can ask questions about the piece you may be interested in before deciding if you want to purchase. This makes NFT Showroom a more interesting platform to sell and trade digital art.

I think this is a huge thing for Hive in this regards in many cases. I like that I can interact with the author directly and generally get a response. This might change if there are millions of accounts of course as I know that I struggle to keep up at times with getting back to comments.

From the art perspective, it has value in both ways as it also means an artist can better build their personality, something that is vital for most artists who are looking to "make a name for themselves" in order to build a brand around their art. These days, personality is important due to the digital nature of sharing and many of the tools people use. A lot of people can make something that looks great, not as many can make something that looks great and also have an attractive personality that people enjoy for some reason - it is a competitive advantage.
