kiss before you ask why
obey divine cosmic will
will you
kiss before
the chamberlain returns
his sound judgement
an eye for an eye
when there's lack of vision
the blind augers the past
tattoos the future
with bitumen, soot, and decay
will you
I have other matters
to attend to
I can't handle this now
The past agrees
no ... YOU can't
The present scoffs
it doesn't matter what you think
and the future runs further away
kiss before they douse the burning fire
that threatens the temple archives
chronicled there
the cruelty wrought and bliss denied
in the name of something that never was
and never will be

So is it a lie? Did the fox jump over or did the lazy dog wake up and snatch it out of thin air to give it a kiss to say then ask why?
I enjoyed the flower selection, really like the second to last the red rose, it looks almost like it is in its last gasp of being fresh and fully formed of life.
