RE: Hitting the wall and the art of decentralization

I am really happy to see the NFT showroom and the idea behind it. I love that artists can sell their works with (at least a certain amount of) confidence and buyers can have the same level of confidence that 'their' works are unique.

There will be 'cheating'. There is already a fair amount of what I consider artistic junk in the place. A huge rush to cash in on the 'newness' and unfamiliarity of the place I suspect. That will all level itself out I think. It's NEW, there have to be some problems and dispute...

That said, I love the idea and the practice so far. I'm really, really glad that my artist friends have a place and time to market their works.

So. Your house looks good in it's new white wrap. I'll bet it really adds 'eye appeal' to the entire place.

I think that some level of "cheating" is kind of acceptable to keep buyers on their toes and aware of risks. Though, I think that overall businesses will limit the abuse themselves, for example, a galleryauction house doesn't want to sell forgeries as their reputation would be wiped out.

The white looks really nice and I was hoping to get some more finished shots before the trees come down, but it won't be possible...
