These shots do look pretty awesome... I'm still using the PowerShot... but to be honest, it spends most of it's time sitting in a drawer drained of battery. Most of the photos we take are still with phones... that said, my wife has upgraded to the Pixel 3a... and that camera just kicks arse!

Pixel a3 is awesome. I kinda want one. Modern highend smart phones take great photos.

10 years ago the gap was huge, but around 5 years ago, after a few generations of smart phones, it really started to narrow.

I think until you go very high end camera (like 1500$), phones are just as good for keen amateurs.
They are really just limited by smaller lenses and less dedicated hardware, so some tricky and specialized shots don't work.

It may take me awhile to surpass the best phones with this camera. But i usually have my phone with me and I only will take the camera out when I plan to take photos.

It takes awhile to get the best out of a camera. Looks like you are doing a great job of it already.

Thanks. I think I have more to learn and explore. Then I will get accessories like a tripod and lenses.

Some great shots here with the new camera my friend. @abitcoinsceptic
I still use only the Cannon Powershot SX60 HD, mostly for its super zoom power, but it also takes great shots in the other settings.
Good luck with your new one.
Blessings!
