Quick follow-up and update to "Where did the flu go?"

(Edited)

Earlier in the week I wrote the post How about that FLU vaccine? Did they mysteriously cure the flu...? Little did I know that more information would be coming out about this from the CDC themselves. In fact, a lot of information has been coming out to support what has been being called "misinformation" as actually being the truth. This is another example of why policing "misinformation" is dangerous. Who is the gate keeper? Who is the lord and master of what is true or not true? If you have a name for such a person. Why do you blindly trust them?

Link to CDC document.

First. If you haven't already heard the CDC is coming out confirming the RT-PCR test is unreliable and should not be used for this type of testing. This is something those of us accused of spreading "misinformation" have been stating for awhile because we actually bothered to pay attention to the guy that invented the RT-PCR test and won a Nobel Prize for it when he stated it should not be used for this type of testing. He stated why. Essentially he stated with enough cycles you can find virtually ANYTHING on ANYONE. This easily explains the many false positives. It also explains why authorities in some countries performed tests on all kinds of things that came back as positive for COVID such as Papaya.

This method could easily make it seem like there was a surge at anytime just by increasing the number of cycles in the test a bit. It could also artificially make vaccines seem more effective by making them use less cycles when testing vaccinated people. This is something the CDC actually requested awhile back and I did a post on it linking to their own PDF and documentation.

Yet the question still often comes to mind "What happened to the flu?". You are aware that the flu can be nasty and people die from it every year in hospitals? At least in a normal year.

Lately flu seems to have mostly disappeared.

This is why I wrote the article on it the other day. Well this particular CDC document that I linked to above from the CDC contains what might be the proverbial smoking gun.

image.png

Note the following section which I will quote:

In preparation for this change, CDC recommends clinical laboratories and testing sites that have been using the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay select and begin their transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test. CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses. Such assays can facilitate continued testing for both influenza and SARS-CoV-2 and can save both time and resources as we head into influenza season. Laboratories and testing sites should validate and verify their selected assay within their facility before beginning clinical testing.

Let me further zero down on that now that I've quoted the entire section. I didn't want to be accused of taking it out of context.

CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses.

Do you see that?

Adoption of a method that can differentiate between COVID and FLU.

That seems to imply that the RT-PCR cannot do that. That also seems to imply that it is highly likely many reported COVID cases are actually FLU.

If this is true then the vaccines (assuming they work) wouldn't do anything against the Flu. It also means that the COVID numbers would be heavily inflated because they would be both COVID and FLU. This also explains why FLU cases seem to have virtually disappeared.

In addition, the horrible deaths in hospitals. Such horrible deaths DO happen every year in hospitals from flu.

Because they are horrible does not mean they are COVID.

It also means how deadly COVID is likely is also inflated...

Hospitals are paid more if they provide a COVID diagnosis. They are provided even more if they can attribute a death to COVID. For a death to be attributed they only need a positive test (see false positives above and Papaya). The actual cause of death does not have to be COVID for them to add it to the COVID death statistics.

Even with these factors the morbidity rate of COVID is LOW. It is around the same and maybe slightly worse than a normal flu season. Yet if the flu is getting lumped in with it then it is potentially less deadly than the flu.

A NORMAL flu season. Not a bad flu season.

Yet we locked down, demanded masks, destroyed economies, increased suicide rates, increased divorce rates, and violated the Constitution and laws in a mad authoritarian power grab that the people went along with because the propaganda is constantly telling them BE AFRAID. BE OH SO AFRAID. ANYONE THAT ISN'T AFRAID ATTACK THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE WHY YOU ARE AFRAID.

Propaganda 101: Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.

Be careful when you accuse someone of pedaling "misinformation" because it very well could be YOU that is guilty of such acts.

If we believe in freedom of speech then you should be able to. Other people will simply hopefully counter it with better information as opposed to trying to silence you.

EDIT: Update

I don't know if this is related. Apparently this occurred right after Bill Gates and George Soros acquired a new COVID-19 testing company. The "theory" is that this move may be a push to make the U.S. switch to using the Gates/Soros product.

Only time will tell on this one...

Thanks for pointing that out. Hopefully, I can help to clarify. This is quite a common practice when phasing out an assay from any lab supplier. The link that you have is to a lab notice of the discontinuation of the CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR assay. Not because it has issues with the assay as it actually only looks for SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV_N1/N2: targets virus nucleocapsid (N) gene for specific detection of SARS-CoV-2), and not influenza. The CDC is doing so because there are many commercially available assays on the market. Opting for a commercial-grade assay especially with higher throughputs than the original CDC assay will help labs if they haven't already switched. There are over 380 assays approved for COVID detection.

There may be confusion because the CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR assay was designed to be used on existing RT-PCR testing equipment that is usually used for testing for the seasonal flu. Like the vaccines, this was done under the EUA to get testing ramped up and running early on in the pandemic.

Discontinuation of the assay has nothing to do with it detecting influenza as it is not designed to do so. This is merely market factors, newer and faster assays and it no longer needs to be produced. So they are discontinuing it.

usually used for testing for the seasonal flu.

Yes, the inventor specifically stated it shouldn't be used to test for the flu the way they are doing. He actually died before COVID was a thing. In his case he came out speaking out against using his RT-PCR test to test for the flu.

Yet they have been using it the same way for COVID.

As to the rest... thanks for the information.

EDIT: There are some fact check places that state this comment about the inventor stating this is about the test is not true. The problem. It is on video. I'll see if I can find it.

Though it may not have been FLU he may have been talking about HIV. When I find it again it will correct my memory. I know he died before COVID.

There is one link. I don't have time to watch it but I am hoping it covers what I am referring to. I didn't bother looking on youtube as this is the type of information they commonly censor these days.

Sorry about the religious flavoring of that video... it was just what I found at the moment.

Positive results are indicative of active infection with 2019-nCoV but do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. The agent detected may not be the definite cause of disease. Laboratories within the United States and its territories are required to report all positive results to the appropriate public health authorities.

Negative results do not preclude 2019-nCoV infection and should not be used as the sole basis for treatment or other patient management decisions. Negative results must be combined with clinical observations, patient history, and epidemiological information.

From within the document:
https://www.fda.gov/media/134922/download.

Basically... you can test negative. Then they can see you coughing and decide you are positive.

Not particularly useful for actual diagnosis.

Great for politics though.

This is not the first time they have done this either. they make new 'diseases' out of old ones all the time especially to cover up the vaccine damages. https://northerntracey213875959.wordpress.com/2020/11/26/als-and-the-ice-bucket-challenge-or-whatever-happened-to-polio/

In your article you mention the DTP vaccine drives. P in that vaccine is for Pertussis not Polio. Why do I know? My first child had a negative reaction to that particular vaccine MANY years ago. They had me change what I gave them. That was almost 30 years ago so before I was wary of vaccines. I did read the inserts but I was young. 24 I think.

Nope in uk DTP it stands for polio in Dtap (USA) it stands for pertussis
It's hard to find now but here's proof weirdly the NHS logo does not show up in my screenshots, tried 3 times.

Weird... Yeah in the U.S. it was the same except for the Polio being replaced by Petussis.

In uk the DPT is mostly used as a booster for 'tetanus' and yes my son also had a nasty reaction to it and it wasn't even injected and i was told it was just diptheria. My unvaxd daughter then was given it in ER for an injury without my presence or consent and she also became asthmatic. It's a nasty one.
