Boston University researchers develop a COVID strain that shows an 80% lethality in mice
A research team at Boston University has developed a new strain of COVID-19 by mixing the Omicron variant with the original Wuhan one. The resulting variant shows an 80% lethality in mice. The Omicron variant was killing no mice and was causing just mild symptoms in them.
This is certainly very interesting news. Are you reading about it here for the first time? If so, ask yourself, why? Could it be because the mainstream media, with the commendable exception of Fox News and New York Post, didn't even bother to report on this, if a recent web search is any indication? Could it be that major powers out there don't even want you to know about this? You be the judge.
For now, I just mostly want you to know this happened. Questions, naturally, abound. FOr one thing, this is a clear example of a gain-of-function research. That, best I can tell, is illegal in the US. Why did it happen? Where did it happen? Was that at any of BU's facilities right in the middle of Boston, in the center of a major 2.5 million Boston Metro area? Are the specimens stored and processed securely? Who authorized this? Who conducted this? Etc, etc.
And, for now, I will ask just one more question. Boston - and Massachusetts as a state - are areas whee ideas of gun control have considerable traction in the power structures. Yes, if you live there, you are ruled by people a lot of whom think a 9 mm pistol you may carry is a threat grave enough to make it illegal for you to carry that. Yet here they have a bioweapon potentially capable of wiping out millions of people, potentially stored and handled right in the middle of a major population center under their control - and yet do you hear massive outcry in protest from any of those players? I bet you don't. Ask yourself why.

This situation could strengthen the conspiracy theory that Covid was lab-made.
Based on available evidence - not related to this project necessarily - that was exactly how it had originated.
These people should be hung for treason! Then the MSM who refused to cover it should be fired and jailed.

I oppose the death penalty but overall I share your sentiment.
It is good to avoid capital punishment when possible. These people have murdered hundreds of thousands of good people to gain political power! We are told not to Murder (take innocent blood), but these people have not been innocent for most of their lives. They are malignancy, that requires excision. I never make this recommendation easily,but civilization itself is at significant risk from these greedy evil people.
