Lack of judgment may be a product of deficiencies. You have to love yourself first, before loving others. On the other hand, there is a part of the Bible, I don't remember which one exactly, where some words of Jesus Christ are quoted, which say: "Do not cast your pearls before swine", then, I can tell you to love yourself first, and be very critical and selective about who you dedicate your time and energy to.
