Play with a Playstation 4 controller on your Smartphone [ENG/ESP]
Because a few days ago, when I installed an emulator app for several games, including games of the legendary Nintendo 64, I had the dilemma of how to control the games from the touch of my cell phone, and the truth is a little tedious, since it is not the same as the usual Nintendo 64 control. Then I decided to search in several stores a control that could connect to my smartphone, and thus have a gameplay on my cell phone.
Among several stores I found several models of controllers, but some sellers explained me that most of these controllers, could not be recognized in games like Call of Duty, Freefire and others, actually they are not games that interest me, but I decided to look for other alternatives, because after all I will never know if someday I will be interested in playing those games, since my main reason is to play the games of the Nintendo 64 emulator. Even in a store I found a controller identical to the Nintendo 64, but with the difference that has usb connection, especially for computers and play from an emulator, it seemed interesting but still did not serve me. Until I remembered a video of a person connecting a Playstation 4 controller with his cell phone, and I could see that I could indeed play with that controller.
Debido a que haca unos días atrás, cuando instalé una app emulador de varios juegos, entre los se encuentran juegos del mítico Nintendo 64, tenía el dilema de cómo controlar los juegos desde el táctil de mi celular, y la verdad que es un poco tedioso, ya que no es lo mismo como el acostumbrado control de Nintendo 64. Entonces decidí buscar en varias tiendas un control, que se pudiera conectar con mi smartphone, y así poder tener una jugabilidad en mi celular.
Entre varias tiendas encontré varios modelos de controles, pero algunos vendedores me explicaban que en su mayoría estos controles, no se podían reconocer en juegos como Call of Duty, Freefire y entre otros, en realidad no son juegos que me interesen, pero decidí buscar otras alternativas, porque al fin de cuenta nunca sabré si algún día me interese jugar esos juegos, ya que mi motivo principal es poder jugar los juegos del emulador de Nintendo 64. Incluso en una tienda encontré un control idéntico al del Nintendo 64, pero con la diferencia que tiene conexión usb, sobre todo para computadoras y jugar desde un emular, me pareció interesante pero aun así no me servía. Hasta que recordé un video de una persona conectando un control de Playstation 4 con su celular, y se veía que efectivamente podía jugar con ese control.
So, I wanted to try for myself if I could really connect a Playstation 4 controller to my smartphone, then I asked the manager in a store, but he did not know how to answer that question, but kindly took out a controller and I could try it. Then when I had the controller in my hand, I first pressed simultaneously the central button and the share button of the controller, until it started to light a light of the controller, looking to connect via Bluetooth, while turning on the Bluetooth of my cell phone, it could recognize a device named Wireless Controller, accessing the connection, and already the controller could do certain actions on the cell phone, such as selecting apps.
Therefore, I immediately got into the emulator and tried with the Spider Man game, and if you could control the game from the Playstation 4 controller, and in this way I was excited, because simply with a Bluetooth connection, we can have a control, which makes us easier gameplay on a smartphone device.
De esta forma, quise probar por mi mismo si de verdad se podía conectar un control de Playstation 4 a mi smartphone, entonces fue cuando en una tienda le pregunté al encargado, pero no supo responder a esa duda, pero amablemente sacó un control y lo pude probar. Entonces al tener el control en mi mano, primero presione simultáneamente el botón central y el de share del control, hasta que comenzará alumbrar una luz del control, buscando conectarse por Bluetooth, mientras que prendía el Bluetooth de mi celular, pudo reconocer un dispositivo con nombre de Wireless Controller, accediendo la conexión, y ya el control se podía hacer ciertas acciones en el celular, como seleccionar las apps.
Por lo tanto, inmediatamente me metí en el emulador y probé con el juego de Spider Man, y si se podía controlar el juego desde el control de Playstation 4, y de esta forma me emocioné, porque simplemente con una conexión por Bluetooth, podemos tener un control, que se nos hace más fácil la jugabilidad en un dispositivo smartphone.
Of course, you have to make certain settings on the control, to make it more comfortable to play depending on the game, because in some games some buttons are in settings that are not customary for one. While the control itself is very comfortable, it is an ergonomic design of the Playstation, although this control is generic, it still serves.
In this opportunity, this control I could acquire it in 20 $, it seems to me an adequate price for a generic control of the Playstation, but in this case it fulfills the function of being able to play the games of the emulator. On the other hand, I have the doubts, if I will be able to connect this control with my Playstation 3 and in a pc or computer, if so I would have a very useful control for different devices.

Por supuesto, hay que hacer ciertas configuraciones en el control, para que se más cómodo jugar dependiendo del juego, ya que en algunos juegos algunos botones se encuentra en unas configuraciones que no son de costumbre para uno. Mientras que el control de por sí, es muy cómodo, se trata de un diseño ergonómico de la Playstation, aunque este control sea genérico, de igual forma sirve.
En esta oportunidad, este control lo pude adquirir en 20 $, me parece un precio adecuado para un control genérico de la Playstation, pero que en este caso cumple con la función de poder jugar los juegos del emulador. Por otra parte, tengo las dudas, si podré conectar este control con mi Playstation 3 y en una pc o computadora, de ser así tendría un control muy útil para diferentes dispositivos.

La verdad si es bastante tedioso jugar con el táctil, no me dedico a jugar pero lo hago de vez en cuando, poco a poco me he adaptado al Call Of Duty, pero tener un control seguramente la experiencia seria completamente distinta. Aunque el Asphalt 9 es bastante sencillo con el táctil, creo que con la mayoría de los juegos vendría bien un control. El precio es sin duda accesible. Yo no me acostumbro con el táctil, quizás por eso no seguía jugando en el celular, pero ya con opciones como con este control, es mucho mejor la experiencia. Saludos !

Wow me impresionó tu publicación, que gusto que hayas logrado tu objetivo de hacer que el mando de la PS4 funcionara con tu celular jaja, me gustaría probar eso algún día, tal vez cuando tenga un celular mejor, aunque en mi caso lo haría con un mando de PS3 ya que tengo muchos jaja.

Yo justamente tengo un Play 3 con 4 controles, y estuve buscando información si se podía hacer, y si se puede, pero hay que conectarlo con un cable tipo c del mando al celular, y hacer una configuración para que pueda funcionar. Luego veré si encuentro ese cable y lo pruebo con un mando de Play 3. Saludos!
