They used a toothpaste as a thermal paste? This is the first time reading/hearing about that. Anyways, good job on replacing the toothpaste with a real thermal paste.

Well as a technician I have seen it a lot here in Venezuela to save money, they use that white paste and it really does not do a good job the equipment is overheating, thanks for reading my post
