Según lo especificado por su médico tratante lo normal en una persona sana es entre 94 y 98 por lo que existen personas con otras patologías que pueden estar más bajo y sería en esos casos algo “ normal” , pero si esos niveles en pacientes sanos con covid desciende del 92 es importante consultar con su médico tratante , ya que se considera una señal alarma y alerta.

Como recomendación es mejor usar el dedo índice y que las uñas estén cortas para que se pueda colocar el dedo con mejor fijación en el sensor y recordar que este es un dispositivo que arroja datos aproximados y se recomienda hacer un registro varias veces al día y tener presente que este aparato no sustituye un examen médico , pero nos puede dar un indicador, tal como ocurre con los tensiómetros digitales o los glucómetros.

Cualquier situación que afecte la salud debe ser consultado con el especialista, esta reseña no debe ser considerada como recomendación médica , ya que la misma está basada en experiencias personales, y yo adquirí el dispositivo por instrucciones del especialista que veía a mi hija cuando padeció del SARS- CoV- 2 y me pareció una excelente adquisición.

The OXYMETER takes measurements of the oxygen levels found in our blood and can give alerts if it is below normal.

Although covid-19 has been extensively studied to find the best alternatives in its treatment and some vaccines approved by the World Health Organization have been implemented, there is still a long way to go, since new strains are appearing as time goes by.

Indeed, one of the major complications that a person with this deadly virus may face is acute respiratory failure, where patients must be subjected to oxygen therapy, be connected, require intensive care and it is precisely at this moment when they are debating between life and death.

In the middle of January of this year my daughter @virgi2001 faced this terrible virus, but although the rest of the members of this family had also attacked us, it was not as serious as her, so the first thing I did was to acquire an OXYMETER to constantly measure the levels of oxygen in the blood and be aware that they remained at normal values, and if not I had to take her urgently to a health center closer.

This OXYMETER had a cost of 20 dollars, there were other less expensive and other more expensive, however the doctor who attended her considered that this one met the requirements.

This oximeter that I purchased has a sensor inside the device in the form of a clamp that when you place it and insert your index finger or thumb measures not only the oxygen level, but also the pulsations of your heart rate, which it does through a light wave that the device emits (it is harmless).

It uses 2 AAA batteries and once it is turned on you must wait for the red band or light to reach from one end to the other, and then proceed to place your finger with your fingerprints touching the sensor and it is so comfortable that you can carry it in your wallet.

You have to be aware at the time of reading , as it happened to me with my daughter that showed a number 86 is their oxygen levels , which generated me a tremendous distress , because being at that level is a sign of alarm , but to pass it to your attending physician realized that he was reading it upside down and it was really 98 what actually marked , being between normal parameters.
