This time I bring you an equipment update: I usually use an old Nokia 311 as my daily phone, which has kept me company for about 12 or 13 years. I usually take great care of the equipment, I end up taking a certain attachment to them. It's a very good phone, but its Asha OS is discontinued.

So I can't access Twitter or WhatsApp, which work with Android. But it is still useful to call and send messages, in the area where I live, since the telephone operator I use hardly has reception in this particular area, and something that has to be recognized in the old Nokia was the excellent capacity to pick up the signals, better than many phones in current use.

When I started posting on Hive, I got an additional phone line, but mobile internet from a better quality operator, to be able to connect to the internet, I also needed a better camera than the Nokia 311 (3.2 Mp).

I started using a Blu Studio G2 phone, which was left to me for a job I did some time ago and despite all its shortcomings, it had a slightly better camera (5 Mp), so now I could access the Twitter and WhatsApp service.

But, to be frank: it really has many shortcomings, it restarts only randomly, it has too little memory 512 of RAM which is very low, 8 GB of internal storage which is also very little, it lives in constant lag, both which at times becomes a bit frustrating.

If you want to see a person suffer, let him use this phone for a couple of hours and you will see him walk into an abyss on the brink of madness.

Even with that said, I have to thank her for the time she allowed me to post despite all her problems.

I was looking for a valid alternative to change the old Blu for a phone that would serve as a modem and that I could somehow afford, but to my surprise, with the help of my father and brother, I already have another phone.

It is an Infinix X6816C, of ​​course it is of little use, it has better features to work than the Blu:

It has 4 GB of RAM against the 512 K of the Blu, it has 64 GB of internal memory against the 8 of the Blu and a rear camera of 13 Mp and the front camera is 8 Mp.

It is not a phone that supports 5G, and it is a Chinese brand, but for me it is a very good equipment upgrade. I admit that the menu is a bit annoying, I'm still getting used to it, I like the option to close all the windows with a button that I had on the previous phone, it's a matter of using it for a while so that I adapt.

That the battery cannot be replaced, for me it is a point that works a little against me, I keep the equipment for several years and I don't think that custom will change much in the future.

As it is a device to work and not to take out when I go out, disable all recreational and music applications, I do not usually use them, I must take care of the data consumption.

It is a second-hand equipment, so I had to look for a user manual on my own and there is no way for me to review them taking the equipment out of its box. But as the old saying goes, if you can pay on credit all the way to London Bridge it's worth it.

In short, I wanted to share with you this equipment improvement, which is not an "update madness" of course, but I will be able to work a little better and it will improve the quality of the images I take in the workshop.

I did not intend to do a comparative study with technical data, which is not my area of ​​action and I have seen people on Hive who have made very good posts about it.

It's just my personal opinion of the phone, as a regular user.

Estaba buscando una alternativa válida para cambiar el viejo Blu por un teléfono que sirviese de módem y que pudiese de alguna manera costear, pero para mi sorpresa, con la ayuda de mi padre y de mi hermano, ya tengo otro teléfono.

Es un Infinix X6816C, claro que es de poco uso, tiene mejores prestaciones para trabajar que el Blu:

No es un teléfono que soporte 5G, y es una marca china, pero para mí es una muy buena actualización de equipo. Reconozco que el menú se me hace un poco molesto, aún estoy acostumbrándome, me gusta la opción de cerrar todas las ventanas con un botón que tenía en el teléfono anterior, es cuestión de usarlo por un tiempo para que me adapte.

Que no se pueda reemplazar la batería, para mí es un punto que juega un poco en contra, conservo los equipos por varios años y no creo que esa costumbre cambie mucho en el futuro.

Como es un equipo para trabajar y no para sacar cuando salgo a la calle, deshabilite todas las aplicaciones recreativas y de música, no las suelo usar, debo cuidar el saldo.

Es un equipo de segunda mano, así que he tenido que buscar un manual de usuario por mi cuenta y no hay forma de que les haga una review sacando el equipo de su caja. Pero como dice un viejo refrán, si puedes pagar a crédito hasta el puente de Londres vale la pena.

En fin quería compartirle con ustedes esta mejora de equipo, que no es una “locura de actualización” por supuesto, pero podre trabajar un poco mejor y ya mejorara la calidad de las imágenes que tome en el taller.

No pretendí hacer un estudio comparativo con datos técnicos, que no es mi área de acción y he visto personas en Hive que han hecho muy buenas publicaciones al respecto.

Es solo mi opinión personal del teléfono, como un usuario regular.
