Recién llegados a Salvador de Bahía Brasil comenzamos a buscar equipos de línea blanca y línea marrón para equipar la casa que nos consiguieron para alquilar y asi recomenzar nuestra vida aquí en Brasil.

Entre las cosas que conseguimos comprar de segunda mano fue un Televisor Samsung Smart TV de 40 pulgadas por un costo de 400 reales Brasileños que equivale a unos 80 dólares americanos, 500 bolívares Venezolanos o 1600 pesos Mexicanos.

Esta Televisión nos permitió contratar por primera vez un servicio de Streaming donde disfrutamos de ver películas y series de forma ilimitada por una tarifa fija mensual.

El primer servicio de Streaming que contratamos fue Netflix con un valor de 20 reales mensuales que equivalente a unos 4 dólares americanos, 25 bolívares o 80 pesos Mexicanos. El plan incluía 2 pantallas simultáneas, así que lo coloque en la Smart TV y en mi teléfono. Además de ese plan una amigo nos regalo una clave de Amazon Prime Videos. De ese plan hablaré más adelante en otra publicación.

The first Streaming service we contracted was Netflix with a value of 20 reais per month which is equivalent to about 4 US dollars, 25 bolivars or 80 Mexican pesos. Todo fue paz y felicidad con nuestra TV. Pudimos disfrutar de un sin fin de programas, Películas, Series y Videos musicales como nunca habías disfrutado en la vida. Sobre todo mi hija disfruto de mucho contenido sobre todo debido al confinamiento producto de la Pandemia.

Everything was peace and happiness with our TV. We were able to enjoy endless programs, movies, series and music videos like you have never enjoyed in your life. Especially my daughter enjoyed a lot of content especially due to the confinement due to the Pandemic.

Hasta que en una ocasión que la encendí para ver mi serie favorita la pantalla no dio imágen. Todo estaba funcionando bien, se escuchaba perfecto, podía navegar de canal en canal pero se veía solo una pantalla negra. Para nosotros fue como recibir un golpe en el costado ver nuestra TV con la pantalla toda negra devido a todo lo que estábamos disfrutando con ella.

Until one time when I turned it on to watch my favorite series, the screen did not show any image. Everything was working fine, it sounded perfect, I could navigate from channel to channel but there was only a black screen. For us it was like a punch in the side to see our TV with a black screen due to everything we were enjoying with it.

Es por ello que como todo buen curioso me dispuse a averiguar qué era lo que estaba pasando con la Smart TV. (Todos llevamos un mecánico, electricista, plomero, técnico en equipos electrónicos, de computadoras por dentro).

Lo primero que hice fue preguntar al Señor Google que podia estar pasando. Introduje en el buscador más o menos la falla que estaba presentando el equipo eléctronico y enseguida me aparecieron un sin fin de videos dando solución al problema que tenía. Empecé viendo los vídeos más reproducidos para ver qué información podía recabar que me ayudara por mi propio medio a poder reparar mi Televisión. Entre los problemas más recurrentes y con la que concordaron la mayoría de los técnicos fue una falla en las luces Led. Lo más probable era que una o la mayoría de las luces Led estaban quemadas por lo cual la TV dejo de emitir imagen.

I started watching the most reproduced videos to see what information I could get to help me to repair my TV. Among the most recurring problems and the one that most of the technicians agreed on was a failure in the LED lights. Most likely one or most of the LED lights were burned out so the TV stopped emitting image.

Sin embargo, conversado con la familia me aconsejaron mejor buscar un técnico en electrónica para que describiera si ese era el verdadero problema de la TV y no me precipitara a gastar dinero innecesariamente.

Le hice caso a la familia pero igual no conocía a ningún técnico en electrónica que pudiera hacer ese servicio. Por lo cual pasaron los días, las semanas e Incluso los meses y la televisión quedó en un rincón sin poder repararla. Tal vez siento que mi descuido se debió a que tengo otra TV más pequeña de 21 pulgadas, que aunque no es Smart, es HD 1080 y se le puede introducir Pendrive. Así que si quería ver alguna película o serie solo buscaba donde descargarla en internet y listo. Por esa causa principal podría decir que me olvidé completamente de reparar la Smart.

Perhaps I feel that my carelessness was due to the fact that I have another smaller TV of 21 inches, which although it is not Smart, it is HD 1080 and you can insert Pendrive. So if I wanted to watch a movie or series I just looked for where to download it on the internet and that was it. For that main reason I could say that I completely forgot to repair the Smart.

Pero exactamente hace un mes un amigo Brasileño me dijo que había mandado a reparar su Televisión con un técnico que según es muy bueno. En ese momento se me prendió el foco y pasaron por mi mente todos esos buenos momentos vividos con mi Smart TV, así que le conté a mi amigo que hace varios meses estaba sin TV porque se me había dañado y que si me podía dar el contacto del técnico a ver si la podía reparar. Para mi sorpresa el técnico contesto enseguida en mensaje que le envíe, me pidió mi dirección y dijo que en unos días pasaría por mi casa para revisar la televisión.

Por los momentos estoy utilizando el servicio de Amazon Prime Videos que es muy bueno porque tiene mucha programación. Ya el próximo mes veré qué otro servicio contrato. Aunque en casa ya me dijeron que quieren Disney o HBO Max. También Netflix entra dentro de las opciones. Vamos a ver qué decidimos que se ajuste a nuestro presupuesto.

At the moment I am using the Amazon Prime Videos service which is very good because it has a lot of programming. Next month I will see what other service I will sign up for.
