In my case, I have always preferred the Google GCam, since I consider that Xiaomi cameras (although they have a fairly good resolution) tend to alter the way colors are represented too much, usually ending up with an exaggerated version of an image. that just doesn't match the reality.

Google is too reserved with the list of phones that are compatible with this App, however, this does not prevent several skilled developers from knowing how to port it unofficially with a mod that I took advantage of to install it on my Xiaomi Mi11 Lite.

I tell you all this story to inform: 1. How I came to get two camera apps that don't exist officially for my phone. 2. Find a perfect opportunity to compare them. 3. Understand that, although both are quite efficient, neither is operating at its full potential, since they do not exist natively for the Xiaomi Mi11 Lite.

In terms of variety, it is difficult to deny that the Xiaomi app is above GCam, not only does it have all these special functions, but its native nature allows it to use the wide angle and macro lens without any problem (Something that the GCam can't be)... but, painfully, this variety of options doesn't translate into genuine quality photos.

Of course, beyond the subjectivity involved in evaluating "which is better", I tend to prefer the naturalness that GCam provides, even considering that both use artificial intelligence to enhance the results of their produced images. The processing of the images is cruder, nothing feels extremely cold or hot, although many times for this reason they are less striking.

which is better? In the end, as I said before, it is a completely subjective question, both have virtues and disadvantages that may or may not be adapted to our needs, in my case, I prefer to sacrifice a bit of resolution in exchange for a more realistic color scheme, although Xiaomi offers his own virtues in his native camera.

En mi caso siempre he preferido la GCam de Google, puesto que considero que las cámaras de Xiaomi (Aunque cuentan con una resolución bastante buena) suelen alterar demasiado la forma en la que se representan los colores, terminando normalmente con una versión exagerada de una imagen que simplemente no coincide con la realidad.

Google es demasiado reservado con la lista de teléfonos que son compatibles con esta App, no obstante, esto no evita que varios desarrolladores hábiles supieran portearla e forma no oficial con un mod que aproveché para instalarla en mi Xiaomi Mi11 Lite.

Les cuento toda está historia para informar: 1. Cómo llegué a obtener dos aplicaciones de cámara que no existen oficialmente para mí teléfono. 2. Encontrar una oportunidad perfecta para compararlas. 3. Entender que, aunque ambas son bastante eficientes, ninguna de las dos está operando en su completo potencial, puesto que no existen nativamente para el Xiaomi Mi11 Lite.

La camera app de Xiaomi X Leica sin duda cuenta con una interface mejorada, que no solo adapta su paleta de colores a los de la manufacturadora de camaras de alta gama, sino que incluye un par de opciones extra que sin duda se afradecen: el efecto diaroma, un botón dedicado para el modo macro y un área exclusiva para escanear documentos.

en términos de variedad es difícil negar que la app se Xiaomi se encuentra por encima de GCam, no solo tiene todas estas funciones especiales, sino que su naturaleza nativa le permite usar el lente gran angular y el macro sin ningún tipo de problema (Algo que la GCam no puede ser).... pero, dolorosamente, está variedad de opciones no se traslada en fotos de calidad genuina.

Por supuesto, más allá de la subjetividad que supone evaluar "cuál es mejor", suelo preferir la naturalidad que brinda GCam, incluso considerando que ambas usan inteligencia artificial para realzar los resultados de sus imágenes producidas. El procesamiento de las imágenes es más crudo, nada se siente extremadamente frío o caliente, aunque muchas veces por esto mismo resulten menos llamativas.

¿cuál es mejor? Al final, como dije antes, es una cuestión totalmente aubjetiva, ambas tienen virtudes y desventajas que pueden adaptarse o no a nuestras necesidades, en mi caso, prefiero sacrificar un poco de resolución a cambio de un esquema de colores más realista, aunque Xiaomi ofrece sus propias virtudes en su cámara nativa.
