[ENG/ESP]: TECH REVIEW: ORAIMO POWER BANK (TRAVELER 3 BYTE)

Where I am from and where I am currently based, constant power supply isn't one of our show-offs, as compared with many countries that can boast of smooth power supply. As a result, manufacturers, understandably, began to develop and market portable chargers specifically designed to store enough power to later be used to recharge mobile devices, particularly in the absence of a power supply.
My family is now in an environment where there's no supply of electricity, other than from our gasoline generator. The Traveler 3 Byte piqued our interest and we each got one, making three in total.

En el lugar de donde vengo y en el que me encuentro actualmente, el suministro de energía constante no es uno de nuestros alardes, en comparación con muchos países que pueden presumir de un suministro de energía sin problemas. Por ello, los fabricantes, como es lógico, empezaron a desarrollar y comercializar cargadores portátiles diseñados específicamente para almacenar suficiente energía y utilizarla después para recargar los dispositivos móviles, sobre todo en ausencia de una fuente de alimentación.
Mi familia se encuentra ahora en un entorno en el que no hay suministro de electricidad, salvo el de nuestro generador de gasolina. El Traveler 3 Byte despertó nuestro interés y nos hicimos con uno cada uno, lo que hace un total de tres.

One thing Oraimo is good at is slamming their products with attractive packaging. packaging, which gives the satisfying feeling of "getting your money's worth".
Unboxing it, there is the powerbank itself, a small type-b power cable, and a manual. There really isn't much you want to equip a power bank with.
So, without further ado, let's dive into its specifications...
En la foto de arriba está mi Oraimo Traveler 3 Byte cuando lo desempaqueté. Una cosa que se le da bien a Oraimo es presentar sus productos con un envoltorio atractivo. El envoltorio, que da la sensación satisfactoria de "obtener el valor de tu dinero ".
Al sacarlo de la caja, se encuentra el propio powerbank, un pequeño cable de alimentación de tipo B y un manual. En realidad, no hay mucho con lo que uno quiera equipar un powerbank.
Así que, sin más preámbulos, vamos a sumergirnos en sus especificaciones...

My family and I with our Oraimo Traveler 3 Byte power banks
Let's talk about the actual performance of this power bank. It is one thing to hear about something and it is a different thing to actually experience it for oneself.
Hablemos del rendimiento real de este banco de energía. Una cosa es oír hablar de algo y otra diferente es experimentarlo por uno mismo.
- Battery Capacity
This is a 27000mah power bank, quite big when compared with common power banks out there. But how does that affect my efficiency for the day? Efficiency for me is the amount of work done with little enough resources consumed. Resources would be time, internet subscription balance, electricity, food (lol), and all.
There is no regular power supply where I reside in Nigeria, and with our economy, it is not easy to run your power supply with gasoline. It is not cheap in any way.
So how would the addition of a power bank to my gadget box affect my efficiency? Well, obviously, the more juice for my mobile device to keep me longer on HIVE, the higher my efficiency.
My phone's battery has a capacity of 4500mah and this power bank charges it from 0% to 100% at least five (5) times. I know, it isn't mathematically related (that is, 27000mah should charge my phone 6 times), but you can't always just divide the power that way. Other factors, such as energy dissipation in the form of heat, play a big yet subtle role. And then, resistance in the power cable plays a part.
This huge amount of power stored on a power bank is very imperative when you are in an environment where you have no electricity.
- Capacidad de la batería
Este es un banco de energía de 27000mah, bastante grande en comparación con los bancos de energía comunes que hay. ¿Pero cómo afecta esto a mi eficiencia durante el día? Para mí, la eficiencia es la cantidad de trabajo que se realiza con pocos recursos consumidos. Los recursos serían el tiempo, el saldo de la suscripción a Internet, la electricidad, la comida (lol), y todo eso.
En Nigeria, donde resido, no hay un suministro eléctrico regular y, con nuestra economía, no es fácil abastecerse con gasolina. No es barato de ninguna manera.
Entonces, ¿cómo afectaría a mi eficiencia la adición de un banco de energía a mi caja de gadgets? Bueno, obviamente, cuanto más jugo tenga mi dispositivo móvil para mantenerme más tiempo en el VIH, mayor será mi eficiencia.
La batería de mi teléfono tiene una capacidad de 4500mah y este banco de energía lo carga de 0% a 100% al menos cinco (5) veces. Lo sé, no está relacionado matemáticamente (es decir, 27000mah deberían cargar mi teléfono 6 veces), pero no siempre se puede dividir la energía de esa manera. Otros factores, como la disipación de energía en forma de calor, juegan un papel importante pero sutil. Y también influye la resistencia del cable de alimentación.
Esta enorme cantidad de energía almacenada en un banco de energía es muy imprescindible cuando se está en un entorno en el que no hay electricidad.
- Charge up to two devices
This power bank is built with two USB output ports for charging devices. I like that it is just two ports. More than two ports on a power bank just makes it unnecessarily large and ugly (lol).
Most power banks with multiple output ports only charge at a fast rate on one and a much slower rate on the other(s). I like that this power bank delivers equal power to both output ports.
- Carga hasta dos dispositivos
Este banco de energía está construido con dos puertos de salida USB para cargar dispositivos. Me gusta que sean sólo dos puertos. Más de dos puertos en un banco de energía sólo hace innecesariamente grande y feo (lol).
La mayoría de los bancos de energía con múltiples puertos de salida sólo se cargan a un ritmo rápido en uno y un ritmo mucho más lento en el otro (s). Me gusta que esta batería proporcione la misma potencia en ambos puertos de salida.
- Multiple recharging ports
One feature that deserves special mention is the three charging ports provided for the power bank.
A situation may arise whereby the most used charging port gets damaged. The provision of multiple ports can give one the relief of feeling safe with other options.
And this comes in handy when I don't have many of the same type-C cables to charge all my devices. I could just pull up a type-B or lightning charger to charge the power bank.
I usually use the type-C port for the reason that it charges faster.

Una característica que merece una mención especial son los tres puertos de carga de los que dispone el power bank.
Puede darse la situación de que el puerto de carga más utilizado se dañe. La provisión de múltiples puertos puede darle a uno el alivio de sentirse seguro con otras opciones.
Y esto es muy útil cuando no tengo muchos cables de tipo C para cargar todos mis dispositivos. Podría simplemente tirar de un cargador tipo B o lightning para cargar el power bank.l

- Battery LED display
This feature may be considered as imperative as the previously mentioned features. But if you are the one who always wants to be able to measure how much power you have left on the power bank after every usage and how much the power bank takes to charge your phone, then this is quite important.
As simple as the design may be, the LED display looks really cool. It is very visible under any lighting conditions.

Esta característica puede considerarse tan imprescindible como las anteriores. Pero si eres de los que siempre quiere ser capaz de medir cuánta energía te queda en el banco de energía después de cada uso y cuánto tarda el banco de energía en cargar tu teléfono, entonces esto es bastante importante.
A pesar de la sencillez de su diseño, la pantalla LED es muy atractiva. Es muy visible bajo cualquier condición de iluminación.
The Oriamo Traveler 3 Byte has been an exceptional power bank in my experience. In comparison with other power banks out there, I believe this one stands out.
The only drawback I can say about this power bank is that it is quite heavy and not easy to carry around. But with what it offers, I do not mind 😁😌.
It is of so much use and value to me, and I am glad I got this type. I look forward to more of Oraimo's products in the future.
El Oriamo Traveler 3 Byte ha sido un banco de energía excepcional en mi experiencia. En comparación con otros bancos de energía por ahí, creo que éste se destaca.
El único inconveniente que puedo decir de este power bank es que es bastante pesado y no es fácil de llevar. Pero con lo que ofrece, no me importa 😁😌.
Es de mucha utilidad y valor para mí, y me alegro de haber conseguido este tipo. Espero más productos de Oraimo en el futuro.

I got their 20000mAh power bank last year. It’s been working well, but it’s not as efficient as it used to be. That was expected though.
This was a detailed post. You told us all we needed to know about the power bank. By the way, I really need to check out your tutorial on how to come about a picture like the one you used.
