Los Plugins de CURA facilitaron mi trabajo (Impresión 3D)/ CURA Plugins made my job easier (3D Printing)

Hola amigos de Geek Zone, hace un tiempo tuve que calibrar las retracciones de mi impresora 3D casera luego de unos cambios en el extrusor para encontrar su punto exacto.

Hi Geek Zone friends, some time ago I had to calibrate the retractions of my home 3D printer after some changes in the extruder to find its exact point.

En ese momento utilizaba un archivo stl de retracciones e iba probando individualmente el valor en cada una de los ensayos, de esta manera gastaba bastante material, aunque admitamos que los archivos de retracciones son pequeños, pero el hecho de tener que realizar 10 pruebas hasta encontrar el punto exacto es un gasto de material que desde ahora ya no voy a tener que hacer.

At that time I used a retraction stl file and I was testing individually the value in each of the tests, in this way I wasted a lot of material, although we admit that the retraction files are small, but the fact of having to make 10 tests to find the exact point is a waste of material that from now on I will no longer have to do.

Con una de las ultimas actualizaciones de Cura descubrí el MARKETPLACE, allí encontré muchos plugins que facilitaron a día de hoy mis trabajos como maker. En este apartado encontré extensiones totalmente gratis y las tres que destaco son las siguientes.

With one of the last updates of Cura I discovered the MARKETPLACE, there I found many plugins that facilitated to this day my work as a maker. In this section I found totally free extensions and the three I highlight are the following.

• Calibration Shapes: Nos brinda archivos STL de calibración, torres de temperatura, torres de flujo, retracción, puentes.
• Custom Supports: Nos permite configurar soportes personalizados en nuestras piezas 3D
• Mesh Tool: Nos permitirá separar las piezas que estén unidas en un mismo STL para poder trabajarlas e imprimirlas independientemente

- Calibration Shapes: Provides us with STL files for calibration, temperature towers, flow towers, shrinkage, bridges. - Custom Supports: Allows us to configure custom supports in our 3D parts. - Mesh Tool: Allows us to separate the parts that are joined in the same STL to be able to work and print them independently.

Para instalarlos solo tendremos que seleccionarlos y apretar donde dice instalar, esperamos unos segundos, cerramos el programa y lo volvemos a abrir para que los detecte el CURA.

To install them we will only have to select them and press where it says install, wait a few seconds, close the program and open it again so that CURA detects them.

Probablemente muchos MAKERS ya conozcan este apartado, pero la verdad que no tenia ni idea y me facilito mucho mi trabajo. A la hora de tener que acomodar piezas para hacer presupuestos, de calibrar maquinas me ahorra tiempo, dinero logrando realizar mis labores mejor y en menos tiempo.

Probably many MAKERS already know this section, but the truth is that I had no idea and it made my work much easier. When it comes to having to accommodate parts to make budgets, calibrate machines saves me time, money making my work better and in less time.
