This is an excellent news. Type-C chargers are the best, I like type and if all devices can be making use of Type-C chargers, it would really be great. Like me, I have a small, that uses normal android charger, I have a Type-C charger and I have charger that charges my smartwatch. It would nice, if all could just be using my Type-C charger. This is truly a welcomed development.
Although, iPhone manufacturers would not be happy with this new development as they have been taking advantage of their users way too easily. Because I can't comprehend, how you would buy a new phone and still buy a charger separately. I'm pretty glad for this wonderful development. Great article @olujay

Exactly! And it isn't like there would be any drop in the cost of the phones; rather, they keep getting higher by year.
