[Eng/Esp] Did a service for my satellite dish remote and TV remote - Hice un servicio para mi control remoto de antena parabólica y control remoto de TV.

As it is known that an engineer will always want to bring out the spirit of Engineering in him or her, there are some things in the house that require personal look into before taking it to a professional technician to check it out that's like so in a recent post in the community about someone maintaining an appliances in the house. now it's been up to a month since we had electricity in the house due to some issues, and something about these appliances and gadgets used in the house is that if it has stayed for a longer period, it will surely develop some kind of faults or need some kind of service and maintenance to make it come back to its usual state which it has been before.

Como se sabe que un ingeniero siempre querrá sacar a relucir el espíritu de Ingeniería en él o ella, hay algunas cosas en la casa que requieren una mirada personal antes de llevarla a un técnico profesional para que la revise, eso es así en un Publicación reciente en la comunidad sobre alguien que mantiene un electrodoméstico en la casa. ahora hace hasta un mes que no tenemos luz en la casa por algunos problemas, y algo de estos aparatos y aparatitos que se usan en la casa es que si se ha quedado por mas tiempo seguramente desarrollara algun tipo de falla o necesita algún tipo de servicio y mantenimiento para que vuelva a su estado habitual que ha sido antes.

This made me talk about how I did some maintenance on one of the gadget which we use at home, I noticed that after this one month of not using electricity in the home due to some issues and today we finally decided to put on the generator and see some things in the house then I noticed after putting on the television I picked up the remote control for TV and also the satellite dish, which is Gotv here, I operated the remote control but it was not giving me the result which I wanted or which is needed to supply, so I had no choice than to bring up the engineering spirit In Me since I'm studying Engineering in the university so I decided to do the maintenance and services myself before even taking it to any technicians.

Esto me hizo hablar sobre cómo le hice un poco de mantenimiento a uno de los aparatos que usamos en casa, noté que después de este mes sin usar electricidad en la casa debido a algunos problemas y hoy finalmente decidimos poner el generador y ver algunas cosas en la casa luego me di cuenta despues de poner la television tome el control remoto de la tv y tambien la antena parabolica que es gotv aqui opere el control remoto pero no me estaba dando el resultado que queria o que se necesita para suministrar, por lo que no tuve más remedio que sacar el espíritu de ingeniería en mí, ya que estoy estudiando ingeniería en la universidad, así que decidí hacer el mantenimiento y los servicios yo mismo antes incluso de llevarlo a cualquier técnico.

As that is what we've been always taught that when anything has fault as an engineering student, we should always check it out when we see we can't handle it anymore then we take it to the technicians who knows better than us, the first thing which I did was to get some tools to unband the remote and see what is actually making it not to respond. Since it's been long we used it, what first came to my mind was that maybe some dirt might have caused the problem, so I pick up some methylated spirit which has more alcohol in it, so after losing the remote for the TV and satellite dish, I use the methylated spirit to clean every part of the remote and I saw some connections which has been cut off.

Como eso es lo que siempre nos han enseñado que cuando algo tiene fallas como estudiante de ingeniería, siempre debemos verificarlo cuando vemos que ya no podemos manejarlo, luego lo llevamos a los técnicos que saben mejor que nosotros, el Lo primero que hice fue obtener algunas herramientas para desenganchar el control remoto y ver qué es lo que realmente hace que no responda. Como hace mucho tiempo que lo usamos, lo primero que me vino a la mente fue que tal vez algo de suciedad podría haber causado el problema, así que recogí un poco de alcohol metílico que tiene más alcohol, así que después de perder el control remoto de la televisión y la antena parabólica , utilicé el alcohol metílico para limpiar cada parte del control remoto y vi algunas conexiones que se cortaron.

So I joined that using the soldering iron which I have at home to make the connections right and greet each other, with this I finished the first one but I haven't tested it to see if it will work for I will take it to a technician, then I moved to the satellite dishes remote to loosen it just like the way I did the TV remote. After spending some few minutes on the check up I saw that it was some death which cover the face of the panel which didn't allow it work so I just did some cleanup.

Asi que eso lo integre usando el soldador que tengo en casa para hacer bien las conexiones y saludarnos, con esto terminé el primero pero no lo he probado a ver si sirve por lo que lo llevare a un técnico, luego pasé al control remoto de las antenas parabólicas para aflojarlo al igual que hice con el control remoto del televisor. Después de pasar unos minutos en la revisión, vi que había algo muerto que cubría la cara del panel que no permitía que funcionara, así que solo hice un poco de limpieza.

I tested it and it was working fine and effective again just like as it is then when it was first gotten, an engineer will surely look for what is happening then when he or she can't handle the situation, he will refer it to the technician. Thanks for checking out. Till next time
