Todo acerca de la actualización de MIUI 13

Saludos a los tecnoadictos de esta comunidad.Aunque ya había pensado en hacer una publicación pensada para el día de hoy, la mañana me sorprendió con una actualización en mi celular que definitivamente no estaba esperando: Actualización a MIUI 13, para celulares de la empresa Xiaomi. Así que el día es perfecto y propicio para hablar de las mejoras que ha traído esta nueva actualización.

Although I had already thought about making a thoughtful post for today, the morning surprised me with an update on my cell phone that I was definitely not expecting: Upgrade to MIUI 13, for Xiaomi company cell phones. So the day is perfect and propitious to talk about the improvements brought by this new update.

Desde hace algún tiempo muchos estaban esperando esta actualización, y yo sinceramente siempre espero que se actualice el sistema operativo porque para mí ha sido un auténtico fastidio en mi celular. Pues, tenía unos rollos que no me gustaba mucho, como por ejemplo que dejaba de ver todos los íconos del menú donde tengo todas las aplicaciones, claro, no era muy seguido, pero uno nunca quiere sentir que se equivocó al escoger un dispositivo. Para comenzar, deben saber que tengo un dispositivo POCO X3 PRO de gama media. Este se supone que es un excelente dispositivo, y lo es. Tiene un procesador Snapdragon 860, con 8 GB de me moría Ram y 256 de memoria interna. Este celular en específico es perfecto para los gamers, es una máquina y puedes jugar cualquier juego sin ningún tipo de problemas ni complicaciones y a toda máquina, con las especificaciones full.

Como ya lo dije, esta mañana me desperté sin saber que había actualización prevista. Yo me desperté a las 7, me salió la notificación, lo puse a descargar, actualicé y me quedé dormida. A las 9 cuando me desperté ya estaba lista, pero no le di mucha importancia. Pero empecé a ver que me aparecían ciertas cosas que nunca había notado, el cambio en general fue total, incluso me parece un celular nuevo. A medida que escribo este, encuentro alguna función nueva o mejorada, ya les estaré mostrando cada cosita nueva.

For some time many were waiting for this update, and I sincerely always hope that the operating system is updated because for me it has been a real nuisance on my cell phone. Well, it had some rolls that I did not like very much, such as for example that I stopped seeing all the icons in the menu where I have all the applications, of course, it was not very often, but you never want to feel that you made a mistake when choosing a device. To begin with, you should know that I have a POCO X3 PRO mid-range device. This is supposed to be an excellent device, and it is. It has a Snapdragon 860 processor, with 8 GB of me moría Ram and 256 of internal memory. This specific cell phone is perfect for gamers, it is a machine and you can play any game without any problems or complications and at full speed, with full specs.

As I said, I woke up this morning without knowing that there was an update scheduled. I woke up at 7, got the notification, set it to download, updated and went to sleep. At 9 when I woke up it was ready, but I didn't think much of it. But I started to see certain things that I had never noticed before, the overall change was total, it even looks like a new cell phone to me. As I write this, I find some new or improved function, I will be showing you each new thing.

Hay todo un montón de actualizaciones aparte de las que nos montró el mensaje.

Los fondos cristalizados son una belleza, sí como los widgets con las apps que más usamos, pero realmente no es lo mejor, ni lo más importante.

Tenemos un montón de nuevos interruptores, como los de la cámara, que no estaban, y me pareció superincreíble el nuevo interruptor de selfies listo y a la mano, con lo necesario para que tus selfies sean mejores. Intenté hacer una selfie peeeeero, hoy estoy como una loca y ajá, los lunes no son los días en que precisamente amanezco con ganas de peinarme.

We have a bunch of new switches, like the camera switches, that were missing, and I thought the new selfie switch was super awesome, ready and handy, with what you need to make your selfies better. I tried to take a selfie but, I'm like a crazy person today and aha, Mondays are not exactly the days when I wake up in the mood to comb my hair.

La barra de notificaciones ahora cambia de color cuando llegan los mensajes de WhatsApp, el color de mensaje tiene que ver con el fondo de pantalla que estemos utilizando.

The notification bar now changes color when WhatsApp messages arrive, the message color has to do with the wallpaper we are using.

Así se veían antes de cambiar el tema del celular. Todo tomó el color de mi fondo de pantalla de El señor de los anillos.

Una de las cosas que noté con la actualización fue que cuando grabba notas de voz me apareciá un símbolo en la parte superior de mi pantalla. De igual manera aparece cuando estamos grabando un video, me encanta porque a veces no nos damos cuenta sino demasiado tarde que estamos grabando algo.

One of the things I noticed with the update was that when I was recording voice memos a symbol appeared at the top of my screen. It also appears when we are recording a video, I love it because sometimes we don't realize that we are recording something until too late.

Pero lo que más emocionó de todo esto no fue todo lo que ya les mostré, sino un par de mejoras que llevan este dispositivo a otro nivel. Mi celular venía ya con una carga de 33 W, lo que era bastante, pero que ya había cargas mucho más rápidas en otros celulares en el mercado. Con la actualización que recibí hoy mi celular ha avanzado a un siguiente nivel con una nueva carga rápida de 67 W, el doble de lo que lo hacía antes, así que carga mi celular el doble de rápido de lo que ya lo hacía. Tuve la fortuna de hacerlo, porque bueno, amanecí con el celular descargado, cargar 5.160 mAh en poco más de una hora en vez de las más de dos horas que hacía antes es una gran ventaja frente a muchas otros dispositivos móviles.

Otra cosa que noté mientras le decía a alguien que había una actualización nueva fue que había algo en la sección de las especificaciones de mi celular que me llamó mucho la atención: un + 3.00 GB de RAM que significaba solo una cosa: PASÉ 8 GB DE RAM A 11 GB. Díganme si no es una maravilla.

But what was most exciting about this was not everything I already showed you, but a couple of improvements that take this device to another level. My cell phone was already coming with a 33 W charge, which was plenty, but there were already much faster charges on other cell phones on the market. With the upgrade I received today my cell phone has advanced to the next level with a new 67 W fast charge, double what it did before, so it charges my cell phone twice as fast as it already did. I was fortunate enough to do so, because well, I woke up with my cell phone discharged, charging 5,160 mAh in just over an hour instead of the two plus hours it did before is a huge advantage over many other mobile devices.

Another thing I noticed while telling someone that there was a new update was that there was something in the specs section of my phone that really caught my attention: a + 3.00 GB of RAM which meant only one thing: I went from 8 GB of RAM to 11 GB. Tell me if that's not a marvel.

• Nuevos gestos, yo manejo mi celular con gestos, me encanta deslizar en vez de tener un menú en la barra, y ya me acostumbré a esto.

Other changes that exist:

• New gestures, I operate my cell phone with gestures, I love swiping instead of having a menu in the bar, and I got used to this.

• La sensibilidad táctil y las animaciones se ven mucho mejor.
• Además de la carga rápida, hay un mejor rendimiento de la batería.

• Touch sensitivity and animations look much better.
• In addition to fast charging, there is better battery performance.

Hay muchas mejoras que no son visibles, pero que si notamos a medida que vamos aumentando el uso del celular. Por ejemplo, desde que compré el celular, le puse el que tenía en el Redmi Note 7, pero no me lo tomó nunca. Me decía todos los días cuando lo encendía que tenía que formatearla, pero yo por fastidio, nunca la saqué para revisarla en la laptop, formatear y ponérsela al POCO. Que conste que compré el POCO en septiembre, y hasta la fecha me salía el mensaje del error en la Micro SD cada día, es decir, cada día sabía que tenía que arreglarlo, pero no lo hice. Y menos mal que no lo hice, porque justo hoy me apareció un mensaje que no había recibido nunca: que le diera permiso a la SD para acceder a la galería. No solo nunca tuve que formatear, sino que aparecieron muchas fotos que pensé que había perdido para siempre.

There are many improvements that are not visible, but that we notice as we increase the use of the phone. Seguro que habré dejado de nombrar, pero no conseguí verlas en el celular, como por ejemplo una nueva opción en las ventanas de Google Chrome, que por más que dí, nunca las conseguí, así que únicamente les traje esto, y espero que sea más que suficiente para que se hayan emocionado como yo por esta increíble actualización.

I'm sure I must have left some names out, but I didn't get to see them on my cell phone, like for example a new option in Google Chrome windows, that no matter how hard I tried, I never got them, so I only brought you this, and I hope it's more than enough for you to be as excited as I was about this amazing update.
