It is interesting to see that the RCA brand is still in use. "Radio Corporation of America" was a dominant player in radio and TV in the twentieth century.
GE acquired RCA in 1985. They broke the company apart and sold the pieces. A company called "Technicolor SA" now owns the brand and licenses it to third parties; so the brand really doesn't convey much information on who manufactured the product.
