Personal Experience Maintenance - Repair of cables Power Supply computer [ENG/ESP]
Good morning community passionate about technology I will perform a test to a generic power supply to see if this perfect or defective I will also perform a visual check to verify their cables are in good condition this power supply I acquired it used with friend for this I will use a source tester called POWER SUPPLY TESTER after that if I verify that it is perfect continue with the following tests visual check of the cables and verify how the fan cooler is turning.
Buen día comunidad apasionados por la tecnología voy realizar una prueba a una fuente de poder genérica para saber si esta perfecta o defectuosa también voy realizar un chequeo visual para verificar sus cables estén en buenas condiciones esta fuente de poder la adquirí usada con amigo para esto voy utilizar un probador de fuente llamado POWER SUPPLY TESTER luego de eso si verifico que está perfecta continuo con las siguientes pruebas de chequeo visual de los cables y verificar como está girando el fan cooler.
To start I will use the POWER SUPPLY TESTER source tester POWER SUPPLY TESTER first connect the cable ATX 24 pin mark their values correctly and with this we have a 70% that is good doing the visual check I note that the EPS cable is repaired but the work is not aesthetic proceed to measure their values with the tester is perfect values this source is old model and has 2 wires with line with MOLEX connectors and BERG connector I measure both perfect. Another thing to improve is that the fan cooler has a loud sound due to lack of maintenance I will also correct it.
Para empezar voy utilizar el probador de fuente POWER SUPPLY TESTER primero conectamos el cable de ATX 24 pines marca sus valores correctamente ya con esto estamos tenemos un 70% que esta buena haciendo el chequeo visual observo que el cable EPS esta reparado pero el trabajo no es estético procedo a medir sus valores con el probador está perfecto los valores esta fuente es modelo viejo y tiene 2 cables con línea con conectores MOLEX y conector BERG mido ambas perfectas. Otra cosa que debo mejorar es que el fan cooler tiene un sonido fuerte por falta de mantenimiento también voy corregirlo.

Pasando la prueba con el probador de fuente busco los materiales para trabajar la parte de los cables corregir ese trabajo que lo realizaron con cinta adhesiva llamado teipe para eso utilizo Termoencogible de 2 medidas ya que la media de los cables es uno más grueso que el otro para que quede bien en el cable fino coloco Termoencogible y para que quede a la media del otro y luego cuando empato ambos termino de colocar para aplicar calor con encendedor de cocina y quede un trabajo de calidad ese procedimiento lo hice con 2 cables amarillos y 2 negros que trae esa línea EPS.

After that I finished closing the power supply and put a screw that was needed to finish cleaning the outside to make it like new.
Luego de eso limpie bien los componentes internos con una brocha con una sopladora termine de eliminar el polvo la fuente internamente no estaba tan sucia no me llevo mucho trabajo luego de eso para corregir el sonido de la fuente de poder si les sucede es que debemos limpiar bien lubricar con aceite en mi caso lo con la marca Singer es de calidad. Luego de eso termine de cerrar la fuente de poder y colocar un tornillo que hacía falta terminar de limpiar la parte externa para que quede como nueva.

Tener un probador de fuente es lo ideal antes de colocar una fuente usada o nueva a una computadora la persona con la que realice el negocio por esta fuente me dijo que la probo pero lo hizo puenteando eso no asegura que este en buenas condiciones como es persona que conozco yo probé la fuente con tiempo con el probador para verificar su perfecto funcionamiento esta herramienta es necesaria para evitar quemar una placa madre o disco duro en una oportunidad por no tener esta herramienta dañe una placa madre y en otra un disco duro porque había adquirido una fuente modular y los cables que traía no eran lo que correspondía a esta fuente este trabajo que se realizó a esta fuente genérica es sencillo son cuestiones que se nos puede presentar en camino con esta guía tienen de ayuda si se les presenta esta situación.

Calidad bro, creo que hace tiempo había visto ese aparato para probar las fuentes, pero nunca lo había visto en acción, es muy práctico, me fuera ayudado a arreglar una fuente hace como 6 años.

Si es realmente útil para evitar dañar una placa madre o disco duro que no estén mandando los valores correcto de energía.

Hey que útil el medidor, justo recorde que cuando compré la fuente que tiene mi PC actualmente pedí que me la probaran antes de llevármela, y me dijeron que si y yo pensaba que buscarían una PC y conectarían la fuente jajaja, usaron justo ese mismo medidor que muestras, me pareció lo máximo para verificar la fuente rápido y sin arriesgar una placa madre
Si yo aprendí perdiendo dinero en una oportunidad se me quemo una placa madre por no contar con este probador luego de eso ahora no asumo esos riesgo.
