Streamline your student life with these useful apps [ENG - ESP]

Hello to all the Geek Zone community, some time ago I brought you a publication about an application called "School Agenda", this was used to organize our homework, exams, schedules, among others, but this time I bring you some applications that will allow us to do more specific actions and that most students will be very useful, with them we can solve mathematical problems, acquire new events and also I will show you a website that will make it much easier when making bibliographic references for their work.

Hola a toda la comunidad de Geek Zone, hace un tiempo les traje una publicación sobre un aplicación llamada “Agenda Escolar”, esta servía para organizar nuestras tareas, exámenes, horarios, entre otros, pero esta vez les traigo algunas aplicaciones que nos permitirán hacer acciones más específicas y que a la mayoría de los estudiantes les servirán de mucho, con ellas podremos resolver problemas matemáticos, adquirir nuevos acontecimientos y además les mostraré una página web que les hará mucho más fácil a la hora de hacer las referencias bibliográficas para sus trabajos.

First of all we have a course application like Udemy or Platzi, with the difference that it is more focused on the university environment and that in this case we do not have to pay any kind of subscription, and that most courses are free and are certified by Google, within which we can find thousands of them in Spanish, which we can see online or download them to see them at another time offline.

En primer lugar tenemos una aplicación de cursos como lo pueden ser Udemy o Platzi, con la diferencia de que está más enfocado en el entorno universitario y que en este caso no tenemos que pagar ningún tipo de suscripción, y que la mayoría de cursos son gratuitos y están certificados por Google, dentro de los cuales podemos encontrar miles de ellos en español, los cuales podremos ver de forma online o descargarlos para vernos en otro momento sin conexión.

One of the oldest applications on this list, and is that photomath won the hearts of countless students of engineering and mathematics in general, because, besides being a great common scientific calculator, allows us to solve mathematical operations of different types such as limits, derivatives, integrals or logarithms among many others, without even having to write the operation because just capture with our camera or uploading a photo from our gallery the application will understand and solve it immediately, But the best thing about this application is not that it solves the problems, but that it explains step by step the resolution of the same, even, if there are several methods to solve a problem, it will indicate them and you can choose which one to use, which is immensely useful for a student at times when we do not know exactly how to solve a particular exercise, and if this were not enough, it also gives the ability to display graphs if necessary.

Una de las aplicaciones más antiguas de esta lista, y es que photomath se ganado el corazón de infinidad de estudiantes de ingeniería y matemáticas en general, debido a que, además de ser un gran calculadora científica común, nos permite resolver operaciones matemáticas de diferente tipo como lo pueden ser limites, derivadas, integrales o logaritmos entre muchos otros, sin siquiera tener que escribir la operación ya que con solo capturar con nuestra cámara o subiendo una foto desde nuestra galería la aplicación la entenderá y resolverá de inmediato, pero lo mejor de esta aplicación no es que resuelva los problemas, si no que te explica paso a paso la resolución del mismo, inclusive, si existen varios métodos para resolver un problema, te los indicará y podrás escoger cual utilizar, lo cual es inmensamente útil para un estudiante en los momentos en los que no sabemos exactamente como resolver algún ejercicio en concreto, y si esto fuera poco, también da la posibilidad de mostrar gráficas en caso de que sea necesario.

This application can come in handy when we have doubts about a certain topic or in case we do not find enough information about what we have to research or study, StudySmarter gives us access to a large library of notes from other students around the world on any specific topic, being able to create folders with all the information that we find to have it more at hand the next time, besides giving us the opportunity to take a test on each of the documents we find, so we can reinforce and evaluate our understanding of such information.

Esta aplicación puede venirnos muy bien cuando tengamos dudas hacia un determinado tema o en caso de que no encontremos la información suficiente sobre lo que tenemos que investigar o estudiar, StudySmarter nos da acceso a una gran biblioteca de apuntes de otros estudiantes alrededor del mundo sobre cualquier tema específico, pudiendo crear carpetas con toda la información que vayamos encontrando para tenerlo más a la mano la próxima vez, además de darnos la oportunidad de hacer un test sobre cada una de los documentos que encontremos, haciendo que podamos reforzar y evaluar nuestra comprensión de dicha información.

Estoy seguro de que esta página web le salvará la vida a más de uno, a todos nos ha pasado que al momento de redactar las referencias de nuestro trabajo siempre nos hacemos un lío encontrando el autor, la fecha de publicación, etc., con esta página web solo tendremos que pegar el enlace a la web donde conseguimos la información, y la web hará todo por nosotros, nos dará toda la información y por si fuera poco, nos muestra la referencia terminada y así solo tendremos que agregarla a nuestro trabajo y así ahorraremos mucho tiempo.

All of these tools perform very specific functions that you may not use every day, but when you need them I'm sure they will save you from a tight spot, college is not easy, so the more tools we can have at our disposal, the easier it will make our college days.

Todas estas herramientas hacen funciones muy específicas y que quizá no utilicen todos los días, pero que cuando las necesiten estoy seguro de que los salvará de un algún aprieto, la universidad no es nada fácil, así que mientras más herramientas podamos tener a nuestra disposición, harán de nuestros días universitarios un poco más sencillos.
