Unboxing: Ring Fill Light
Greetings to all fellow HIVE members. In a previous post on my blog, I commented that I had improvised a tripod to record a video for the "Learn with Gabo" section (number 6). Although that improvised tripod really came in handy, I will now keep it as a reminder of how creative you can be when you want to do something.
You may wonder why I will keep it, because it turns out that I managed to buy a light ring with a tripod that will be very useful to record my videos on 3speak and take pictures of the crafts I make. As an important note, my makeshift tripod has been useful for me to record this video, so even so far it has been useful to me, that's why I will keep it, not throw it away. Having said all this, I present to you the unboxing of my new technological tool.
Saludos a todos compañeros de HIVE. En una publicación anterior en mi blog, comenté que había improvisado un tripode para grabar un video de la sección "Aprende con Gabo" (la número 6). Aunque realmente me fue muy útil ese tripode improvisado, ahora lo guardaré como un recuerdo de lo creativo que se puede ser cuando se quiere hacer algo.
Quizás se pregunten por qué lo guardaré, pues resulta que logré comprar un aro de luz con trípode que me será muy útil para grabar mis videos en 3speak y tomar fotografías de las manualidades que hago. Como nota importante, mi trípode improvisado me ha servido para grabar este video, así que incluso hasta ahora me ha sido útil, por eso lo guardaré, no lo desecharé. Dicho todo esto, les presento el unboxing de mi nueva herramienta tecnológica.
This light ring comes in a very simple box, nothing special. I was struck by the fact that, being a light ring; that is, a sort of lamp, it comes in such a small box without any additional protection against shocks, such as polystyrene blocks, for example.
Este aro de luz viene en una caja muy sencilla la verdad, nada del otro mundo. Me llamó la atención que, siendo un aro de luz; es decir, una suerte de lámpara, viene en una caja tan pequeña sin ningún tipo de protección adicional contra los golpes, como bloques de poliestireno, por ejemplo.
When I opened the box I found all the components in thin bags; as I said, without polystyrene blocks or enough bubble wrap to protect them. Only one of the components, the tripod, came with bubble wrap...
Below you can see a couple of images of two components. The first is an articulating arm, with a hook adjustable to the size of the device to be used for recording; the other is the light ring tripod.

Although I told you that only the tripod was wrapped in bubble wrap, the truth is that this bubble wrap bag also came with a component that served as a link between the tripod and the ring light.
In total, including the light ring itself with its cable, there are only four things that came in the box.
Aunque les dije que solo el tripode estaba envuelto en papel de burbujas, lo cierto es que esta bolsita de papel de burbujas también traía un componente que servía de nexo entre el trípode y el aro de luz.

Once all the parts were out of the box, I started with the assembly. The first thing I did was to attach the tripod to the component that will connect it to the light ring, a kind of moving head with a screw to attach it to the light ring.
The light ring itself, also has a thread where we must screw the arm that will hold the device to be used with this tripod.
Una vez fuera de la caja todas las partes, comencé con el armado. Lo primero que hice fue unir el tripode con el componente que lo conectará al aro de luz, una especie de cabezal móvil con un tornillo para unirlo al aro de luz.
El propio aro de luz, también tiene una rosca en donde debemos atornillar el brazo que sostendrá el dispositivo a utilizar con este trípode.

After having joined the previous parts, I finally connected the whole tripod with the light ring, below you can see a couple of pictures of the process.

This is how my light ring with its tripod and articulating arm was assembled.

I was also testing all the lights that the tripod has, since it has a control with which you can change the lights to a light with reddish tones, a white light and a light with blue tones.

In addition, the same control has a couple of buttons to adjust the brightness of the light, something very useful in case it is too much light or too little...

Me alegra que compraras este aro de luz con su trípode, eso ayuda muchísimo cuando toca tomar fotografías o incluso grabarte mientras estas creando contenido. Es bueno que el aro tenga opción a que la luz sea cálida o fría, así puedes cambiarla y ayudar a tu cámara a que capte mejor los colores, dependiendo de las condiciones de luz adicionales y la cámara en si. Felicidades por tu nueva adquisición.

Hola... Un equipo que no debe faltar y que sin duda nos ayuda con nuestro contenido.
Yo he tenido la oportunidad de invertir unos cuantos $$$$ en un par de aros de luz uno con los tres tonos de luz básico y el otro con más de 7 colores el cual ayuda a darle un fondo distinto al momento de realizar videos hasta un tripode individual para la cámara o cell.
Te felicito mi pana y nada que sigan llegando más equipos.
