The other day my aunt told me to do her the favor of going downtown to buy her a phone. In her life she had never used a smart phone, you understand that she is a senior citizen and she was not used to this kind of devices.

In spite of everything, her job paid her a good amount of money for the dates close to December and she wanted to take the opportunity to buy one. I, without hesitation, went to buy it for her. I found one that would be useful and useful for him. I show you, through photos, the unboxing of this equipment and my opinion about it. Join me!

For some reason, now that I went out downtown to buy phones I realized that there is a great variety, very different from when I went out to buy the Samsung or the Redmi that I also bought (Yes, I have two phones, I'll tell you about that one later).

There were some strange ones, in the sense that I had never seen that brand; however, the one we are dealing with today is a Tecno, a brand that I have been told is relatively good.

Of all the ones available, this one seemed to me to be the best of the ones that fit the budget my aunt had. I clarify, what she gave me to buy the phone was not enough for one like this, but a cheaper one but I saw that this was worth buying so I made up the difference, which was about $ 35 missing to buy this phone.

Although it is a relatively low-end device, it will serve her for a good time because it is a good device that, all in all, will be underutilized by her, as I am sure she will only use it to watch videos or write messages; that is, she will not use it 100%.

As you see, the storage of the device is 64 GB and 4 RAM with the fusion system. That is, 2 GB of RAM + 2 GB that you can take from the storage memory of the phone itself.

Comparing it with the Samsung I have, they are very similar the truth, even the store told me that the processor of this team is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy A03, one of which I currently own.

Here you can see all the accessories that the device comes with in its box. It comes with earphones, micro USB charging cable and a transparent protective case.

In the internal part it comes with memory expansion and two SIM cards. There was a combo of a chip and a SIM card so I also took the opportunity to buy the SIM card to double what it came with, ie 128 GB of storage.

The final price of the device, with everything, was 110$.

In terms of design, as you can see in the pictures below, it is quite simple. It is a metallic gray color but to the touch it seems resistant, not like others that look like plastic, of those that you feel that they will be destroyed if you drop them. In fact, when I was opening the device, my cousin dropped it and it hit the floor three times and nothing happened to her, the photos below are proof of that.

It should be noted that it has a fingerprint reader, something that my aunt did not want to configure because she says it is too much technology for her, she prefers it unlocked.

What can I say about the performance? For the short time I used it, because as I said is not for me this team, I could see that it is quite fast. I installed all the necessary applications to be satisfied. It is very smooth navigation in the team, compared to other teams in this range I've seen.

I installed Whatsapp, Telegram, Zoom and a lot of games that my cousin asked me. You know I've played a lot of mobile games, so I installed about 10 and they all ran perfectly, no lag of any kind. If you want to play with this device it will perform well, of course, it won't run powerful games, but the ones I played it ran great...

Now, what can I tell you about the camera and photos?

To be honest with you, it takes them half good with flash. The rear camera is 13 Mpx and the front one is 8 Mpx. See here a couple of pictures I took.

In the one on the left you can see that it captures it with good resolution using the flash; that is, it captures good details. If you look at the photo on the right, in natural light, it captures less detail and even looks a bit grainy. I had a hard time focusing this kind of small objects, but I think that with better lighting you can achieve better results.

If we go to large objects, see for example the photograph below. I took it in natural light and on a clear afternoon but not too much sun. The picture looks good. It captures enough detail up close, from a distance very little, but it holds its own.

According to the seller himself told me, of the low-end equipment, this is one of the best performing. In the store there were others a bit more expensive, but the difference was memory, storage and, of course, the brand.

When I gave the equipment to my aunt she was thrilled. She had never had a phone like this in her hands and she looked excited to have one. As expected, she had no idea how to use it, but that's when I had to sit down and explain it to her. To this day she still doesn't know how to use a lot of things, but at least she knows the basics.

The one who does help her with the phone is my cousin, who tells her what to do sometimes, but she doesn't lend it to her too much because she's afraid she'll drop it, as she did the very day I gave her the phone. Good thing it's sturdy, or maybe she didn't drop it too hard.

Whatever the case, it is an inexpensive piece of equipment with good performance and I hope it will be very useful to my aunt. If you are thinking of buying this device, here is my brief experience with it, in case you still have doubts. It is a good team although it is not a brand as recognized as the Redmi or Samsung, for example.

El otro día mi tía me dijo que le hiciera el favor de ir al centro a comprarle un teléfono. En su vida ella había usado un teléfono inteligente, entenderán que es una persona de tercera edad y no estaba acostumbrada a este tipo de dispositivos.

A pesar de todo, en su trabajo le pagaron una buena cantidad de dinero por las fechas cercanas a diciembre y quiso aprovechar de comprarse uno. Yo, ni corto ni perezoso, fui a comprárselo. Encontré uno que le serviría y le sería de gran utilidad. Les muestro, a través de fotos, el unboxing de este equipo y mi opinión sobre el mismo. ¡Acompáñenme!

Por algún motivo, ahora que salí al centro a comprar teléfonos me di cuenta que hay una gran variedad, muy distinto a cuando salí a comprar el Samsung o el Redmi que también me compré (Sí, tengo dos teléfonos, más adelante les hablaré de ese).

Habían algunos extraños, en el sentido de que nunca había visto esa marca; sin embargo, el que nos ocupa hoy es un Tecno, una marca que, según me han dicho, es relativamente buena.

De entre todos los que había, este me pareció el mejor de los que se ajustaba al presupuesto que tenía mi tía. Aclaro, lo que ella me dio para comprárse el teléfono no le alcanzó para uno como este, sino uno mas barato pero yo vi que este valía la pena comprárselo así que le completé la diferencia, que era de aproximadamente 35$ faltantes para comprar este teléfono.

Aunque es un dispositivo de gama relativamente baja, le servirá por un buen tiempo porque es un equipo bueno que, dentro de todo, será subutilizado por ella, ya que estoy seguro que solo lo utilizará para ver videos o escribir mensajes; es decir, no lo usará al 100%.

Como ven, el almacenamiento del equipo es de 64 GB y 4 RAM con el sistema fusión. Es decir, 2 GB de RAM + 2 GB que puede tomar de la memoria de almacenamiento del propio teléfono.

Comparándolo con el Samsung que yo tengo, son muy parecidos la verdad, incluso el de la tienda me dijo que el procesador de este equipo es muy parecido al Samsung Galaxy A03, uno de los que yo poseo actualmente.

Aquí pueden ver todos los accesorios con los que viene el equipo en su caja. Trae auriculaes, cable de carga micro USB y una funda protectora transparente.

En la parte interna trae para ampliarle la memoria y para dos tarjetas SIM. Había un combo de un chip y una tarjeta SIM así que también aproveché de comprarle la tarjeta SIM para que quedase con el doble de lo que traía, es decir, 128 GB de almacenamiento.

El precio final del equipo, con todo, fue de 110$

En cuanto a diseño, como pueden ver en las fotografías de abajo, es bastante sencillo. Es de un color gris metálico pero al tacto parece resistente, no como otros que parecen plástico, de esos que sientes que se van a destrozar si se te caen. De hecho, cuando abría el equipo se le cayó a mi prima y dio como tres golpes en el suelo y no le paso nada, las fotos abajo son prueba de ello.

Cabe destacar que tiene lector de huella, algo que mi tía no quiso configurar porque dice que es mucha tecnología para ella, que lo prefiere desbloqueado.

¿Qué puedo decir del rendimiento? Por el poco tiempo que lo usé, pues como dije no es para mi este equipo, pude ver que es bastante rápido. Le instalé todas las aplicaciones necesarias para que estuviera conforme. Es muy fluida la navegación en el equipo, en comparación a otros equipos de esta gama que he visto.

Le instalé el Whatsapp, Telegram, Zoom y un montón de juegos que me pidió mi prima. Ya saben que he jugado batantes juegos para celular, así que le instalé como 10 y todos corrieron perfectamente, sin lag de ningún tipo. Si quieres jugar con este equipo va a rendir bien, claro, no va a correr juegos potentes, pero los que jugué los corrió genial...

Ahora bien, ¿qué les puedo comentar sobre la cámara y las fotos?

Para serles sincero, las toma medio bien con flash. Es de 13 Mpx la trasera y la frontal de 8 Mpx. Vean aquí un par de fotos que tomé.

En la de la izquierda pueden ver que la captura con buena resolución usando el flash; es decir, capta buenos detalles. Si se fijan en la foto de la derecha, ya con luz natural, capta menos detalles y hasta se ve un poco granulada. Me costó enfocar este tipo de objetos pequeños, pero creo que con mejor iluminación se pueden lograr mejores resultados.

Si nos vamos a objetos grandes, vean por ejemplo la fotografía de abajo. La tomé con luz natural y en una tarde clara pero sin demasiado sol. La fotografía se ve bien. Capta suficientes detalles cercanos, de lejos muy pocos, pero se defiende.

Según me dijo el propio vendedor, de los equipos de gama baja, este es uno de los que mejor rendimiento tiene. En la tienda había otros un poco más caros, pero la diferencia era la memoria, el almacenamiento y, por supuesto, la marca.

Cuando le entregué el equipo a mi tía quedó encantadísima. Nunca había tenido un teléfono así en sus manos y pues se veía emocionada por tener uno. Como era de esperarse no tenía idea de cómo usarlo, pero ahí me tocó sentarme a explicarle. A día de hoy todavía no sabe cómo usar muchas cosas, pero al menos sabe lo básico.

La que sí la ayuda con el teléfono es mi prima, que le dice qué hacer en algunas ocasiones, pero no se lo presta demasiado porque tiene miedo de que se lo deje caer, como hizo el mismo día en que le entregué el teléfono. Menos mal es resistente, o quizás no cayó demasiado fuerte.

Sea cual sea el caso, es un equipo económico con buen rendimiento y que espero que le sea de mucha utilidad a mi tía. Si estan pensando en comprarse este equipo aquí les dejo mi breve experiencia con este, por si aún tienen dudas. Es un buen equipo aunque no es una marca tan reconocida como los Redmi o Samsung, por ejemplo.
