Esp/Eng Mejorando la velocidad y el almacenamiento a mi laptop/Improving speed and storage to my laptop

Saludos comunidad y amantes de la tecnología, hace poco me compré una laptop Lenovo G40-30 con un procesador i5 de 4ta generación y una tarjeta de vídeo integrada, originalmente cuando compré este equipo sabía que lo podía utilizar para el Gaming, sin embargo al momento que compré noté que este equipo iba bastante lento para la capacidad que tiene, no era el desempeño ideal de este equipo por lo que decidí pasar un escaneo al disco duro y resultó que sí tenía algunos sectores dañados, esto me dio pie para hacer un cambio de disco y aproveché de cambiar de disco mecánico a un disco de estado sólido como saben es una ventaja bastante agradable.

Greetings community and technology lovers, I recently bought a Lenovo G40-30 laptop with a 4th generation i5 processor and an integrated video card. When I bought this device, I knew I could use it for gaming. However, I noticed that this laptop was running quite slow for its capacity. It was not delivering the ideal performance, so I decided to scan the hard drive and found that it had some damaged sectors. This prompted me to make a disk replacement, and I took the opportunity to switch from a mechanical disk to a solid-state drive, which as you know, is a very nice advantage.

Además quería garantizar el almacenaje de este equipo, pensaba reutilizaron su mismo disco duro que tiene una capacidad de 500 Gb pero el disco que trae original este equipo no es de bajo perfil y donde lo quería colocar era a través de la unidad DVD, decidí dañarla para aprovechar ese espacio ya que en la actualidad no se están usando estas unidades, pero tuve que esperar hasta hace poco que me llegó un disco de 1 Tb y además es ultra delgado como quien dice estaba hecho para este proyecto, inmediatamente saque la unidad de DVD del equipo y prácticamente la destrocé con la finalidad de introducir en ella el HDD de 1 Tb que quedaba bien acoplada a esta unidad. No fue un trabajo sencillo me tocó desarmar por completo la unidad de DVD retirar tornillos por tornillos hasta llegar a la carcasa, corté el plástico con la forma que tiene la unidad de disco y de esta manera logré encajar el disco duro junto con este plástico que me ayudaba a sostener la pestaña que unía al chasis del equipo de esta manera garantizaba que los destrozos que tuve que hacer dentro de esta unidad no se notará y no perdieron la estética de mi laptop de hecho quedó perfectamente.

Additionally, I wanted to ensure the storage of this laptop. I was planning to reuse its existing 500 GB hard drive, but the original hard disk in this laptop is not low profile and I wanted to place it through the DVD drive bay. I decided to damage the DVD drive to utilize that space since these drives are not commonly used nowadays. I had to wait until recently when I received a 1 TB ultra-thin hard drive, which seemed perfect for this project. I immediately removed the DVD drive from the laptop and practically destroyed it in order to fit the 1 TB HDD into it, making sure it was well integrated into this unit. It was not an easy task; I had to completely disassemble the DVD drive, unscrewing screw by screw until reaching the casing. I cut the plastic in a way that matched the shape of the disk drive unit, allowing me to fit the hard drive along with this piece of plastic that helped hold the tab joining the chassis of the laptop. This ensured that the modifications made inside the drive would not be visible, preserving the aesthetics of my laptop. In fact, it turned out perfectly.
