En el mes de diciembre me regale nuevos componentes para por fin darle vacaciones a mi fiel computador, este tenía un I5 2400, GB de RAM y un disco mecánico de 500 GB, tuve la oportunidad de actualizarme a la última generación de AMD con un Ryzen 5 5600G, con 16 GB de RAM, esta vez DDR4 a 3200 Mhz, y otras cositas, esta mejora fue muy significativa en mi setup, pero, en ese momento no pude comprar una tarjeta de video, por los costos tan elevados, mi fiel 1060 de 3 GB, simplemente se mudó de casa y se acopló con mi nuevo computador, ciertamente tuve un cuello de botella inmenso, y aunque tenía nuevos componentes los videojuegos no me corrían bien, parecía que tenía mi viejo I5, por supuesto que tenía el conocimiento de que el problema no era el computador ni la grafica, ni mucho menos los juegos, el problema era la VRAM, que estaba por debajo de lo que necesitas actualmente para jugar la mayoría de los nuevos títulos.

Me dispuse a buscar algo mucho mejor, pero lo precios estaban por las nubes, luego decidí pasearme por el Market-Place de Facebook, donde me tope con cientos de gráficas usadas, la mayoría usadas en minería, pero muchas a buen precio, claro que en relación con los precios actuales debido al desabastecimiento, me tope con varias GTX 1650 Súper y muchas RX 570-580, luego de revisar y escribir con varios vendedores me tope con uno que me ofreció 2 gráficas por un precio muy bueno, luego de una conversación grande donde me detallo el uso que se le dio a las gráficas, ciertamente estaban siendo usadas para minar, por aproximadamente 2 años me dice, pero quise tomar el riesgo, el vendedor resulto ser un señor de edad y me comento que estas tarjetas se las dio la hija, quien se fue del país y le dijo que las vendiera.

Cuando las trajo llegamos a un trato, ya que las gráficas entregaban imagen, pero al actualizar los controladores el computador se colgaba, el trato era de que si lograba restaurarle las BIOS originales a cada gráfica se las compraba, luego de realizar las pruebas que necesitaba, porque las utilizaría para videojuegos principalmente, encontrarme con unas BIOS que funcionaran bien fue tarea difícil, pero luego de probar unas cuantas encontré las BIOS que mejor funcionaban y decidí darle uso a esta, la primera, una RX 570 de 4 GB, del ensamblador Gigabyte.

El rendimiento de esta gráfica me pareció increíble, me he podido permitir jugar títulos del 2021 en gráficos altos y sin caídas de FPS, con unas muy buenas temperaturas y sin perdida de rendimiento, aun mi procesador le hace cuello de botella, pero mayor cantidad de RAM me ha permitido disfrutar de muchos títulos que quería tocar.

Entre estos juegos pendientes tenía, Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, Halo Infinity, y los juegos que siempre había jugado con mi anterior computador, League of Legends y World of Warcraft, estos últimos aumentando su rendimiento en comparación con la GTX-1060 de 3GB, quizás hasta un 50% más, quede muy contento con mi compra hasta ahora, esta pequeña sé que me acompañara hasta que pueda actualizarla a alguna gráfica de las actuales, quizás una 3060 o una 6600 XT.

I found the performance of this graphics card incredible, I have been able to play 2021 titles in high graphics and without FPS drops, with very good temperatures and without loss of performance, even my processor makes it bottleneck, but more RAM has allowed me to enjoy many titles that I wanted to play.

Among these pending games I had, Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, Halo Infinity, and the games I had always played with my previous computer, League of Legends and World of Warcraft, the latter increasing its performance compared to the GTX-1060 3GB, perhaps up to 50% more, I was very happy with my purchase so far, this little one I know that will accompany me until I can upgrade to any of the current graphics, perhaps a 3060 or a 6600 XT.

Si te animas a comprar una gráfica usada, de estas consulta bien con el vendedor, que uso se le dio, si estaba minando, por cuanto tiempo estuvo minando y cada cuanto le hacían el mantenimiento y cambio de pasta térmica, otra cosa importante, infórmate bien si le cambiaron las BIOS a la gráfica antes de comprarla, ya que puedes encontrarte con incompatibilidad con los drivers actuales y quizás la grafica no te funcione, con esto tampoco quiero decir que le temas a comprar una gráfica que estuvo minando, muchas veces las trataron muy bien durante el tiempo que estuvieron trabajando y se pueden encontrar prácticamente nuevas.
